Flag ! et l’EGPA partenaires de la conférence Mondiale
Police / Justice LGBT à Amsterdam du 2 au 5 août 2016
Flag ! participera du 2 au 5 août 2016 à Amsterdam à la première
conférence mondiale LGBT réunissant les services de Police et de Justice issus
des 5 continents.
A travers notamment des témoignages et la présence de plusieurs
intervenants, cette conférence abordera de nombreux sujets comme les moyens
d’actions pour lutter contre les LGBT-phobies dans les services de police et de la
pénitentiaire à travers le monde, le traitement des personnes trans dans le milieu
carcéral et les actions de sensibilisation dans les écoles de police (Cf. annexe) :

Permettre aux policiers et aux agents pénitenciers de s’épanouir dans
leur milieu professionnel sans craindre d’être discriminés,
·
Rapprocher la police de la population en facilitant l’accès aux services
de police et de gendarmerie des personnes LGBT victimes d’infractions
commises en raison de leur orientation sexuelle ou leur identité de genre.
Tels seront les enjeux importants de cette conférence à laquelle participera
en tenue d’uniforme une délégation de Flag ! élargie et composée de onze
Policiers et Gendarmes, actifs comme administratifs.
Occupant la vice-présidence au sein de l’European LGBT Police
Association et étant chargé d’organiser la conférence à Paris en 2018, Flag ! y
portera un intérêt particulier.
La conférence se terminera le samedi 6 août par la traditionnelle Europride
Canal Pride d’Amsterdam.
