Vous venez d'acquérir une pompe doseuse électromagnétique avec régulation pH incorporée et nous vous remercions de
votre confiance. Il s’agit d’un produit efficace, performant et fiable. Avant d’entreprendre son installation et son utilisation,
lisez attentivement les informations ci-après. Elles contiennent d’importantes recommandations sur les différentes
manipulations et conseils d’utilisation. Gardez soigneusement ces informations et montrez-les aux utilisateurs éventuels.

INFORMATIONS
GÉNÉRALES SUR LA SÉCURITÉ
I - AVANT-PROPOS
Devant une urgence de quelque nature que ce soit dans le local où est installée la pompe, il est nécessaire
de couper immédiatement le courant de l’installation et de débrancher l’alimentation de la pompe.
Si on utilise des produits chimiques particulièrement agressifs, il est nécessaire de suivre scrupuleusement
les consignes de sécurité concernant les produits utilisés.
Si la pompe doseuse est installée en dehors de la Communauté Européenne, veuiller suivre les normes
locales de sécurité.
Le fabricant de la pompe doseuse ne peut être tenu responsable pour les dommages causés aux
personnes et matériels dus à une mauvaise installation ou utilisation de produit.
Attention
Installer la pompe doseuse de sorte qu’elle soit facilement accessible en cas d’intervention de manutention.
Ne jamais obstruer l’accès où est installée la pompe doseuse. Installer un dispositif “interlock” pour bloquer
automatiquement la pompe en cas de manque de circulation.
L’entretien et la maintenance de la pompe doseuse et de tout accessoire doivent toujours être effectués par
du personnel qualifié.
Avant chaque intervention de maintenance, vider toujours les tuyaux et raccords de la pompe doseuse.
Vider et laver toujours avec attention les tubes qui ont été utilisés avec des produits chimiques
particulièrement agressifs. Utiliser les matériels de sécurité recommandés dans la manipulation de ces
produits conformément aux fiches de sécutité.
Lire toujours avec attention les caractéristiques chimiques des produits à doser.
INTRODUCTION
La pompe doseuse électromagnétique série "pH-/+220" idéale pour le dosage des produits liquides
pour piscine, est constituée de 3 éléments de base :
- Le Coffret
- Le Circuit électronique
- La Pompe électromagnétique
LE COFFRET :
La pompe doseuse série pH-/+220 est logée dans un coffret plastique polypropylène garantissant
une protection IP65. Prévue pour un montage mural avec 2 orifices de fixation à une distance de 63
mm l'un de l'autre.
CIRCUIT ELECTRONIQUE :
Le circuit de commande génère des temps de pause et de travail nécessaires au fonctionnement de
la pompe électromagnétique.
La carte électronique réalisée sur un support double face est de qualité industrielle.
LA POMPE ELECTROMAGNETIQUE :
La pompe électromagnétique a un débit maximum de 2 l/h, avec une contre pression de 2 bar.
La pompe doseuse pH-/+220 est prévue pour la mesure et le dosage du pH pour piscine.
La version pH-220 permet de doser uniquement du pH moins, afin de faire baisser le pH
d’une piscine, la version pH+220 au contraire est destinée à doser du pH plus pour faire
monter le pH des piscines.
La visualisation des informations ainsi que la programmation se font par diodes électroluminescenctes (LED). Le dosage est de type proportionnel.
Pour faciliter l'amorçage, il est possible d'activer manuellement la pompe doseuse (voir. paragraphe
amorçage).

INSTALLATION
L'emballage de la pompe doseuse contient tous les accessoires nécessaires à l'installation de celle-ci.
Pour un bon fonctionnement de la pompe, il est impératif de la fixer verticalement, dans un endroit aéré
et accessible, afin de faciliter les opérations d'entretien.
Veiller à ce que la pompe soit à l’abri du soleil, de la pluie et des projections d’eau.
Faire attention de ne pas installer la pompe à plus de 1,5 m de hauteur du produit à doser.
Fixer le tuyau d'aspiration (cristal) au raccord d'aspiration situé en bas de la tête doseuse de la pompe.
Positionner la crépine filtre d'aspiration au fond du bac doseur.
Le tube d'aspiration doit être le plus court possible en position verticale, sans boucle, pour éviter la
formation de bulles d'air.
Fixer le tuyau de refoulement (opaque) en haut de la tête doseuse de la pompe.
Enfin, installer la canne d'injection sur la canalisation et y raccorder l'extrémité du tuyau opaque.
IMPORTANT :
L'injection doit être opérée en dernier lieu sur la canalisation de refoulement, après le
réchauffeur, le surpresseur, et tout autre accessoire suceptible d'être endommagé par une
concentration importante du produit injecté.
Vérifier toujours la compatibilité des produits à doser avec le type de tuyaux utilisés.
La sonde sera installée dans son porte-sonde, à la sortie de la filtration, en amont de la canne
d’injection. Percer et tarauder la canalisation au Ø15/21 ou utiliser un collier de prise en charge.
Connecter l’extrémité du câble de la sonde sous la pompe doseuse à la fiche BNC repérée “pH”.
Pour raccorder la pompe à l'installation, utiliser uniquement les tuyaux fournis. Aucun autre
tuyau ne doit être utilisé sous risque de perdre le bénéfice de la garantie.
- Tube d'aspiration (type cristal) et de refoulement (type opaque) : 4 x 6 mm.
- Température de fonctionnement : - 10 / + 60 °C.
Le bac à réactif sera situé à proximité de la pompe. Il devra être muni d’un couvercle pour
éviter les émanations et d’un orifice de mise en atmosphère empêchant la dépression à
l’intérieur.
La hauteur maximum pour l'aspiration est de 1,5 m.
En aucun cas le bac à réactif ne doit être installé au-dessus de la pompe doseuse.
Dans le cas où le local technique est au-dessus du bassin à traiter, installer un dispositif
anti-siphon (fourni en option) pour éviter toute possibilité de siphonnage du bac.

RACCORDEMENT ELECTRIQUE ET PROTECTION
La pompe doit être raccordée à une alimentation de 230 Volts, asservie à la filtration de
la piscine.
Vérifier que le branchement de la terre soit fait dans les normes.
Veiller à ce que le réseau soit équipé d'un disjoncteur différentiel de 30 Milliampères.
Caractéristiques électriques :
Tension d'alimentation : 198 à 242 Vac - 50 Hz - Consommation moyenne 5 Watts.
Ne jamais brancher la pompe directement en parallèle à des charges inductives (ex :
moteur).

ASSERVISSEMENT
Il est possible d’asservir la pompe pH-/220 à un signal externe à contact sec connecté à la
borne BNC “STAND-BY” sous la pompe (exemple : pressostat, contrôleur de débit, etc.) .
Dans ce cas la pompe ne fontionnera pas tant que le contact sera actif (contact fermé).
AMORÇAGE
DU DOSEUR
I - AVANT-PROPOS
Avant d'effectuer les opérations de mise en service de la pompe doseuse, il est nécessaire
de consulter les fiches toxicologiques de sécurité du produit à doser et d'utiliser les
protections recommandées.
Une fois tous les tuyaux raccordés, maintenir la pression sur la touche ON/OFF et de ce fait, la
pompe est en mode manuel et va se mettre à fonctionner. Ouvrir le robinet d'amorçage qui se
trouve sur la façade du corps de pompe. Lorsque le liquide arrive au tuyau d'évacuation, refermer
le robinet. Relâcher la flèche, la pompe s'arrêtera.
Il est préférable d'effectuer ces opérations avec de l'eau.
DOSAGE
Toutes les caractéristiques de la pompe doseuse série pH-/+220 sont indiquées sur l'étiquette
apposée sur le côté de la pompe. Sont indiqués sur cette dernière le modèle, la tension
d'alimentation, le débit ainsi que la pression d'utilisation. Toutes les caractéristiques de dosage
et de pression sont mesurées avec de l'eau à 20 °C.

ALARME DE NIVEAU
La Pompe doseuse série pH-/+220 est munie d'une alarme de niveau de fin de bac. La sonde de
niveau fournie avec la pompe doit être fixée à la crépine d'aspiration (photo ci-dessous) et
raccordée au connecteur BNC étiqueté “LEVEL PROBE se trouvant sous la pompe. Quand le
produit à doser descend sous le niveau minimum défini par la position de la sonde, la pompe cesse
immédiatement et la LED “LEVEL” clignote.

Une seule LED éclairée indique la valeur pH
correspondante à la LED.
Deux LED éclairées en même temps indiquent que la valeur pH est comprise entre les deux
valeurs indiquées. (Ex.: LED éclairée 7.2 et 7.4 : la valeur lue par la sonde est 7.3).
Si la LED clignote sur 6.8 ou sur 7.6 cela indique une valeur hors échelle (ph inférieur à 6.8 ou
supérieur à 7.6).
L’affichage durant la programmation peut indiquer le point d’étalonnage (CALIBRATION), l’alarme de
dosage maxi ou le point consigne (SET POINT).
Les LED qui s’allument successivement de bas en haut de l’échelle pH/Hr, indiquent que les
données programmées (étalonnage, alarme dosage max ou point consigne) ont été sauvegardées.

LED. L’indication supérieure permet de
sélectionner

La LED fixe associée à une touche indique la sélection d’une fonction.
La LED clignotante indique une condition d’alarme.

FONCTIONS DES TOUCHES DU CLAVIER

À ZÉRO DES PARAMÈTRES DE LA POMPE
Dans le cas où la pompe ne fonctionne pas correctement, les 4 LED des touches clignotent. Il est
alors nécessaire d’effectuer une réinitialisation complete de la pompe. Pour ce faire, maintenir une
pression sur les 4 touches en même temps jusqu’à ce qu’une LED de l’échelle pH/Hr s’allume.
ATTENTION, après cette opération, il est nécessaire de reprogrammer toutes les valeurs.

Cette touche permet d’activer ou de désactiver le fonctionnement de la pompe
(marche /arrêt).
En position OFF, la LED clignote toutes les 5 secondes et indique que la pompe
est sous tension.

AMORÇAGE / DOSAGE MANUEL
En maintenant la touche ON/OFF appuyée, la pompe va démarrer en mode manuel, permettant
l’amorçage, la vérification du matériel et du circuit hydraulique. Quand on relâche la touche, la
pompe revient en mode de fonctionnement normal.
V-ALARM
Quand la LED de cette touche clignote lentement, la pompe ne dose pas et indique un problème
de tension d’alimentation.

D - BY
TOUCHE SET-POINT - (STAND-BY)
Cette touche permet de programmer le point consigne (valeur désirée dans le
bassin). La valeur par défaut est programmée à 7.2 pH. Quand la pompe doseuse
arrivera à cette valeur, le dosage s’arrêtera. A partir de la valeur programmée, la
pompe fonctionne avec un facteur de proportionnalité de 0.3 pH. Pour modifier la
valeur du point consigne par défaut, procéder comme suit :
Partant du mode de fonctionnement normal, maintenir la touche SET POINT appuyée pendant 5
secondes. La LED s’éclaire. En appuyant successivement sur la touche ON/OFF, sélectionner la
nouvelle valeur désirée.
Pour sauvegarder, maintenir la touche SET POINT appuyée jusqu’à ce que les LED s’allument
successivement de bas en haut sur l’échelle pH/Hr.
La version pH-220 permet de doser uniquement du pH moins, afin de faire baisser le pH
d’une piscine, la version pH+220 au contraire est destinée à doser du pH plus pour faire
monter le pH des piscines.
STAND-BY
Si la pompe est connectée à un signal externe et que celui-ci est actif, la pompe s’arrêtera de doser
tout en indiquant la valeur lue dans le bassin. Dans ce cas, la LED clignote.

TOUCHE SECURITE- (MAX-DOS)
Cette touche permet de programmer un temps de dosage maximum. Cette fonction oblige
la pompe à s’arrêter passé le délai programmé, afin d’éviter un surdosage de produit en
cas de défaillance de la sonde, manque d’eau etc....

PROGRAMMATION ALARME DU TEMPS DE DOSAGE MAXI
Maintenir appuyé la touche SECURITE jusqu’à ce que la LED s’allume. Les valeurs sont exprimées en
heures et seront visualisées sur l’échelle pH/Hr. En appuyant plusieurs fois sur la touche ON/OFF, choisir
le temps de dosage maximum désiré. Pour sauvegarder, maintenir la touche SECURITE appuyée jusqu’à
ce que les LED s’allument successivement de bas en haut sur l’échelle pH/Hr.
Exemple de programmation : Si on choisit 0, aucune alarme de dosage n’est activée. Si on choisit 2 Hr, la
pompe s’arrêtera de fonctionner au bout de 2 heures de fonctionnement continu. La pompe injectant 2l/h,
au bout de 2 heures, 4 litres de produit auront été injectés.
Le temps de dosage maximum doit être programmmé en fonction du volume de la piscine.
Pour débloquer une alarme de surdosage (max dos), il y a 2 possibilités :
DEBLOCAGE ALARME DOSAGE MAXI AVEC MODIFICATION DU TEMPS DE DOSAGE
Maintenir la touche SECURITE appuyée. La valeur exprimée en heures s’affiche sur l’échelle pH/Hr. Relâcher
la touche. Il est alors possible en utilisant la touche ON/OFF d’entrer une nouvelle valeur. Pour sauvegarder,
maintenir appuyé la touche “SECURITE jusqu’à ce que les LED s’allument successivement de bas en haut sur
l’échelle pH/Hr. La pompe redémarre alors si elle est en demande.
DEBLOCAGE ALARME DOSAGE MAXI SANS MODIFICATION DU TEMPS DE DOSAGE
Maintenir la touche SECURITE appuyée. La valeur exprimée en heures s’affiche sur l’échelle pH/Hr. Relâcher
la touche, Maintenir de nouveau la touche SECURITE appuyée jusqu’à ce que les LED s’allument
successivement de bas en haut sur l’échelle pH/Hr. La pompe redémarre alors, si elle est en demande.

TOUCHE CALIBRATION - (LEVEL)

LE V
Cette touche permet d’effectuer la calibration de la sonde à l’aide d’une solution
tampon pH 7. Pour entrer en mode “Calibration”, appuyer sur la touche pendant 5
secondes, la LED s’allume. Immerger l’extrémité de la sonde pH dans la solution

tampon pH7, après avoir ôté son capuchon protecteur et l’avoir connectée sur la fiche
BNC “pH” se trouvant sous la pompe. Attendre environ 1 minute tout en agitant la
sonde dans la solution tampon. Pour sauvegarder, maintenir appuyé la touche CALIBRATION jusqu’à
ce que les LED s’allument successivement de bas en haut sur l’échelle pH/Hr.
La LED sur l’échelle pH/Hr doit correspondre impérativement à la valeur de la solution tampon (pH 7).
Dans le cas où il faudrait modifier cette valeur, presser successivement sur la touche ON/OFF pour
atteindre la valeur de la solution tampon. Pour sauvegarder, maintenir la touche CALIBRATION
appuyée jusqu’à ce que les LED s’allument successivement de bas en haut sur l’échelle pH/Hr.
LEVEL (Niveau)
Si la sonde de niveau relève une alarme de niveau bas dans le bac doseur, la LED correspondante
clignote et coupe le dosage.
Celui-ci reprendra une fois que le bac sera rempli.

ENTRETIEN
Avant d'effectuer toute opération d'entretien ou de réparation sur la pompe doseuse, il est impératif
de :
Couper l'alimentation électrique,
Utiliser des gants, lunettes et masque protecteur en fonction du produit dosé.
Rincer les éléments de la pompe en pompant de l'eau claire pendant quelques minutes
Purger tous les produits contenus dans les tuyaux, la tête de pompe, etc…
Oter la pression dans le tube de refoulement,
Déconnecter le tube d'aspiration.
Lors de ces opérations, en cas de contact avec le produit à doser, suivre les indications inscrites
sur l'étiquette de sécurité présente sur le bidon.
La pompe pH-/+220 nécessite peu d'entretien, il suffit de nettoyer la crépine d'aspiration deux fois
par an. Dans le cas d’utilisation d’un produit qui a tendance à cristalliser, effectuer cette opération
une fois par mois.
Vérifier également la canne d'injection.
Dans tous les cas, rincer avec de l'eau claire.

GUIDE POUR SOLUTIONNER UNE PANNE
Si… la pompe ne dose pas et que la LED “ON/OFF” clignote toutes les 5 secondes :
La pompe est arêtée. La mettre en service en appuyant sur la touche ON/OFF
Si… la pompe ne dose pas et que la LED “ON/OFF” est éteinte en permanence :
Vérifier qu’elle est bien alimentée en courant électrique.
Contrôler si le fusible à l‘intérieur du boîtier est en bon état.
Changer de carte électronique.
Si… la pompe ne dose pas et que la LED “ON/OFF” clignote :
Vérifier la tension d’alimentation de la pompe.
Contrôler si la tension correspond à celle de la pompe,
Si… la pompe ne dose pas et que la LED " Low Level " clignote :
Vérifier la présence du produit de dosage,
Contrôler si le flotteur du contact de niveau n'est pas bloqué,
Enlever les incrustations qui pourraient coincer le flotteur en position basse.
Si… la pompe ne dose pas et que l'électro-aimant donne des impulsions
Vérifier que le filtre n'est pas obstrué par une impureté ou cristallisé,
Air dans le corps de pompe, procéder à un réamorçage. (Cf. chapitre amorçage),
Contrôler que la canne d'aspiration et d'injection ne soit pas cristallisée ou bouchée,
Vérifier que les joints toriques ne soient pas déformés par incompatibilité avec le produit
chimique dosé.
Si… la pompe ne dose pas et que la LED “ Stand-By” clignote :
La pompe est asservie à un contact externe qui l’empêche de démarrer (pressostat, flowswitch,..). La pompe se mettra en service dès que le contact externe sera ouvert.

GENERAL
SAFETY INFORMATION
I - AVANT-PROPOS
In the event of an emergency of any type within the plant room where the pump is installed, cut the power
supply to the installation immediately and disconnect the pump.
In installations where highly dangerous chemicals are in use, safety protocols concerning said chemicals
must be strictly followed.
For dosing pumps installed outside the EU, follow the safety standards in effect in the country of installation.
The manufacturer of the dosing pump declines all responsibility for any injury to persons or damage
sustained by equipment imputable to the non-compliant or faulty installation or operation of this product.
Caution
Install the dosing pump in a way that facilitates access for maintenance or any other intervention.
Never block or obstruct the access to the dosing pump. Install an “interlock” device to automatically inhibit
the pump in the event that the flow rate drops to a dangerously low level.
Dosing pump maintenance and cleaning interventions must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Prior to any maintenance intervention, always drain the dosing pump tubes and unions.
Always drain and wash out tubes that have contained dangerous chemicals. Use the safety equipment
recommended for the safe handling of such chemicals se set out in their material safety data sheets.
Always read the chemical properties and technical data of the reagent used very carefully.
INTRODUCTION
The pH -/+ 220 series electromagnetic dosing pumps are ideal for dosing liquid chemicals in
swimming pool installations. Each pump comprises 3 components:
- The casing
- The electronic circuit
- The electromagnetic pump
THE CASING:
The series pH-/+ 220 dosing pump is housed in a polypropylene casing that guarantees IP65
protection. Featuring two apertures separated by a distance of 63 mm, it is designed to be mounted
on a wall.
ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT:
The control circuit determines the electromagnetic pump’s rest and operation cycles.
THE ELECTROMAGNETIC PUMP:
The electromagnetic pump features a maximum flow rate of 2l/h and a back pressure of 2 bar.
The pH-/+220 dosing pump is designed to monitor and regulate the pH of swimming pool water.
The pH -220 version may only be used to dose pH minus to lower the pH of swimming pool
water, while the pH +220 version is intended to dose pH plus in order to raise the swimming
pool water’s pH.
Programming and information is viewed by means LEDs on the display panel. Dosing is
proportional.
To facilitate priming, the pump may be activated manually (see the section on Priming the pump).

INSTALLATION
The dosing pump comes with all the parts necessary for its installation. To ensure correct operation of
the pump, mount it vertically in a well aired accessible location. This will also facilitate future
interventions.
Make sure that the pump will not be exposed to direct sunlight, rain or splashing.
Be careful to install the pump at least 1.5m above the level of the chemical to be dosed.
Attach the suction tube (cristal) to the suction union found at the bottom of the pump dosing head.
Mount the strainer on the end of the suction tube that is placed in the reagent tank.
The suction tube must be as short as possible and free of any loops to avoid the formation of air
bubbles.
Attach the return tube (opaque) at the top of the pump’s dosing head.
Lastly, mount the injection rod on the pool return line and connect the end of the opaque tube to it.
IMPORTANT:
The injection rod must be mounted last on the pool return line, after the heater, booster pump
and any other equipment item that could be damaged by the high concentrations of the
chemicals injected.
Ensure that the tubes and pipes used are compatible with the chemicals being dosed.
The pH probe should be installed in its holder after the filter and upstream from the injection rod.
Pierce and tap the return line Ø15/21 or use a saddle clamp. Connect the end of the probe cable
under the dosing pump to the BNC terminal marked “pH”.
To connect the pump to the installation, only use the tubes provided. The use of any other tubing
is prohibited at the risk of cancellation of the guarantee.
- Suction tube (cristal) and return tube (opaque): 4 x 6 mm.
- Operating temperature: - 10 / + 60 °C.
The reagent tanks should be located as close as possible to the pump. They should be
covered to prevent the escape of fumes and feature an equalizing vent to avoid
depressurisation within the tank.
Maximum suction height is 1.5 m.
The reagent tank must under no circumstances be installed above the dosing pump.
Should the elevation of the plant room be above the pool to be treated, install an anti-siphon
device (available as an option) to prevent the risk of siphoning from the tank.

WIRING AND PROTECTION
The pump must be connected to a 230 Volt power supply, slaved to pool filtration.
Check that earthing has been carried out in accordance with the standards in effect.
Ensure that the circuit is protected by a 30 mA differential circuit breaker.
Electrical data:
Voltage: 198 to 242 Vac - 50 Hz - Average consumption 5 Watts.
Never the connect the pump directly in parallel with any inductive loads (eg: motor).

SLAVING
The pH-/220 pump may be slaved to an external dry contact signal connected to the “STANDBY” BNC terminal under the pump (for example: pressure gauge, flow controller, etc.)
In this configuration, the pump will only run when the contact is active (contact closed).
PRIMING
THE DOSING PUMP
I - AVANT-PROPOS
Before commissioning the dosing pump, the material safety data and toxicology sheet of the
reagent used must be read carefully and all recommended safety precautions must be taken.
Once all the tubes have been connected, hold down the ON/OFF key. The pump will enter manual
mode and will start to run. Open the priming valve on the front of the pump body. When the liquid
arrives at the drainage tube, close the valve. release the key, the pump will stop.
This operation should, by preference, be carried out with water.
DOSING
All the series pH-/+220 dosing pump’s technical data is provided on the label affixed to the side
of the pump. This information includes the pump model, the power supply voltage, the flow rate
and the operating pressure. Dosing and pressure data indicated are valid for a water
temperature of 20°C.

LEVEL ALARM
The series pH-/+220 dosing pump features an end of tank level alarm. The level sensor that comes
with the pump should be mounted on the suction strainer (photo below) and connected to the BNC
terminal marked “LEVEL PROBE” found underneath the pump.When the level of the reagent in the
dosing tank falls under the minimum level defined by the position of the sensor, the pump stops
working immediately and the “LEVEL” LED blinks.

A single LED lit up indicates a pH corresponding to the
LED.
When two LEDS light up at the same time, the pH is between the two values indicated. (For
example: LEDs 7.2 and 7.4 are lit up: the value detected by the probe is 7.3).
If the LEDs corresponding to 6.8 or 7.6 blink, the value detected is off the scale. (pH below 6.8 or
above 7.6).
The display during programming can indicate the calibration point, the max dosing alarm or the set
point.
When the LEDs light up successively from the bottom to the top, this indicates that the data
programmed (calibration, max dosing alarm or set point) has been saved.

The label underneath provides information concerning abnormal operating conditions.
If the LED associated with a key is lit continuously, this indicates that the function indicated has been
selected.
If the LED associated with a key blinks, this indicates an alarm.

RESETTING PUMP PARAMETERS
In the event of a pump malfunction, the 4 key LEDs blink. The pump needs to be reinitialised. To do
this, keep all 4 keys pressed down simultaneously until only 1 LED on the display remains lit up.
CAUTION, after reinitialising the pump, the various values will need to be reset.

This key is used to activate and deactivate the pump (on/off).
In the OFF position, the LED blinks every 5 seconds and indicates that the pump
is energised.

PRIMING / MANUEL DOSING
Hold the ON/OFF key down, the pump starts in manual mode to allow priming, checking of the
equipment and the hydraulic circuit. Upon releasing this key, the pump reverts to normal operation.
V-ALARM
If the LED corresponding to this key blinks slowly, the pump is not dosing and there is a problem
with the power supply.

This key is used to program the set point (the pH value to be maintained). The
default value is 7.2. Once the pool water reaches a pH of 7.2, the pump will stop.
At a pH of 0.3 above (the pH -220 version) or 0.3 below (the pH +220 version) the

set point, the pump will run at 100%, as the pH of the pool water approaches the
set point, the pump will dose at increasingly lower levels until it reaches 0% at the
set point. To modify the set point proceed as follows:
While in normal operating mode, keep the SET POINT key pressed down for 5 seconds.The LED
lights up. Press the ON/OFF successively to select the value desired.
To save the set point, keep the SET POINT key pressed down until the LEDs light up successively
from the bottom to the top of the pH/Hr scale.
The pH-220 version may only be used to dose pH minus to lower the pH of swimming pool
water, while the pH +220 version is intended to dose pH plus in order to raise the swimming
pool water’s pH.
STAND-BY
If the pump is connected to an external signal and the signal is active, the pump will stop dosing
and will display the pH of the pool water. In this case, the LED will flash.

This key allows you to set the maximum dosing time. This function stops the pump after the
programmed run time has elapsed in order to prevent overdosing in the event of a
malfunction (sensor malfunction, low level in the reagent tank, etc.)

PROGRAMMING THE MAX DOSING TIME ALARM
Keep the SAFETY key pressed down until the LED lights up. The allowed values are expressed in hours
and are shown on the pH/Hr display. Press the ON/OFF key repeatedly to select the maximum dosing time.
To save the setting, keep the SAFETY key pressed down until the LEDs on the pH/Hr display light up one
after the other starting at the bottom.
Example: if 0 is selected, the dosing alarm is inactive. If 2 Hr is selected, the pump will stop after 2 hours
of continuous operation. *** As the pump injects a maximum of 2l/h, after 2 hours at most 4 litres of the
reagent will have been injected.
The max dosing time should be programmed as a function of the pool water volume.
There are 2 ways to reset the max dosing alarm (max dos):
RESETTING THE MAX DOSING ALARM WITH MODIFICATION OF THE DOSING CYCLE
Hold down the SAFETY key. The dosing cycle (expressed in hours) is shown on the pH/Hr display scale. Press
the ON/OFF to cycle through the allowed values. To save the new setting, keep the SAFETY key held down
until the LEDs light up one after the other starting at the bottom of the pH/Hr display scale. The pump will restart
when a demand is detected.
RESETTING THE MAX DOSING ALARM WITHOUT MODIFICATION OF THE DOSING CYCLE
Hold down the SAFETY key. The dosing cycle (expressed in hours) is displayed on the pH/Hr scale. Release
the key. Keep the SAFETY key held down again until the LEDs light up one after the other starting at the
bottom of the pH/Hr display scale. The pump will restart when a demand is detected.

This key is used to calibrate the probe. A pH 7 buffer solution will also be required. To
enter Calibration mode, keep the key held down for 5 seconds, the LED lights up.
Remove the protective cap from the probe and connect it to the BNC terminal marked
EL
“pH” underneath the pump. then plunge the tip of the pH probe into the pH7 buffer
solution. Wait 1 minute for the reading to stabilise while stirring the probe gently in the
solution. To save this value, keep the CALIBRATION key held down until the LEDs light up
successively starting at the bottom of the pH/Hr scale.
The LED that lights up on the pH/Hr scale should correspond to a pH of 7. If this is not the case, press
the ON/OFF key repeatedly until the LED corresponding to a pH of 7 lights up. To save this setting,
keep the CALIBRATION key held down until the LEDs light up successively starting at the bottom of
the pH/Hr scale.
LEVEL
If the low level sensor detects a low level in the reagent tank, the relevant LED will flash and the pump
will be stopped.
The pump will automatically restart once the reagent tank has been refilled.

MAINTENANCE
Prior to any pump intervention for maintenance, do the following:
Cut the power supply,
Use gloves, safety goggles, a protective mask and any other safety equipment recommended for the
safe handling of the reagent.
Rinse the pump components by pumping clear water through the pump for a few minutes.
Purge any chemicals that may remain in the tubing, pump head, etc.
Release the pressure in the return tube.
Disconnect the suction tube.
In the event of contact with the reagent during an intervention,follow the instructions on the safety
label affixed to the container.
The pH-/+220 pump requires little maintenance. Simply clean the suction tube strainer twice a year.
If the reagent used has a tendency to form crystals, this operation should be carried out once a
month.
Check the injection rod.
Rinse with clear water.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
IF… the pump does not run and the “ON/OFF” LED flashes every 5 seconds:
The pump is stopped. Start the pump by pressing the ON/OFF key.
IF… the pump does not run and the “ON/OFF” LED does not light up:
Check the power supply and power connections.
Check that the fuse inside the box has not blown.
Change out the printed circuit board.
IF… the pump does not run and the “ON/OFF” LED is flashing:
Check the pump power supply.
Check that voltage is compatible with the pump,
IF… the pump does not run and the “Low Level” LED is flashing:
Make sure that there is sufficient reagent in the tank.
Check that the level contact float is not blocked.
Remove any depositions that may have formed and that could keep the float blocked in the low position.
IF… the pump does not run and the solenoid valve is pulsing
Check that the filter is not obstructed by impurities or crystals,
there could be air trapped in the pump body, reprime the pump. (See the section on priming),
Check that the sampling and injection rods are not blocked,
Check that o-rings have not been damaged dues to incompatibility with the reagent used.
IF… the pump does not run and the “Standby” LED “ is flashing:
The pump is slaved to an external contact that is preventing start up (Pressure gauge, flowswitch,etc.). The pump will start up as soon as the external contact opens.
