Recommandations de mise en oeuvre :
• Collage: Le collage du panneau Borg! sur un support type
contreplaqué, MDF, aggloméré, s’effectue à l’aide d’une colle
contact type Néoprène ou d’une colle vinylique dans le respect
des consignes du fabricant de colle.
Afin de garantir une bonne stabilité de l’ensemble, la contreface
du support devra être recouverte d’une face d’équilibrage de
type Sylvaflex (disponible sur stock chez Marotte).
• Traitement des chants: Les 6 essences teintées de la collection
BORG! sont disponibles en bandes de chant sur stock.
Une fois la bande de chant collée sur le support, il est possible
d’y appliquer la finition monocouche Wonder Finish (Kit de
finition disponible sur stock chez Marotte)
Fabrication guide :
∙ Gluing : The gluing process of the Borg ! panels on plywood,
MDF or particle board substrates has to be carried out either
with a neoprene contact glue or a vinyl glue according to the
specifications of the glue manufacturer.
In order to guarantee the stability of the compound, the backing
face of the substrate should be bonded with a Sylvaflex balancing
sheet (available ex stock by Marotte).
∙ Edge treatment : The 6 dyed veneers of the Borg ! collection are
available in edge banding ex stock.
Once the edge banding is glued on the substrate, it is possible
to apply a monocoat of Wonder Finish (Finish kit available ex
stock by Marotte)

Il s’agit d’une huile monocouche, sans eau et sans solvant, qui
protège le bois tout en préservant son aspect naturel.
Elle sublime les contrastes, la profondeur de la matière et révèle
l’essence utilisée.

Since its foundation in 1948, the French company Marotte has forged a name for itself

Designed for use in interior schemes, Marotte decorative wood panels are the result of

La société Marotte - The Marotte Compagny
Créée en 1948, la société française Marotte s’est forgé un
nom qui est aujourd’hui celui d’une lignée. Marotte
excelle dans le travail du bois. Développer les qualités de ce
matériau, multiplier les applications dans l’aménagement
intérieur, découvrir de nouvelles essences, innover sans
cesse, tels sont les leitmotivs de cette entreprise familiale.
Destinés à l’agencement intérieur (revêtement des murs,
des portes, mais aussi des plafonds, du mobilier…), les
panneaux d’ébénisterie Marotte sont le résultat d’une
fabrication rigoureuse et de qualité.
Since its foundation in 1948, the French company Marotte
has forged a name for itself which is synonymous with quality
and tradition. Marotte excels in working with and developing
the qualities of timber veneers, whether by discovering new
tree species or introducing new applications. These are the
recurring themes of this family business. Designed for use in
interior schemes, Marotte decorative wood panels are the
result of rigorous, high quality manufacturing and are
suitable for use as wall panels, on doors, ceilings, furniture
and much more.
GLOSS
«Gloss» est la nouvelle collection de panneaux sculptés Marotte. 3 finitions exclusives,
Ice Gloss, Black Gloss et Métal Gloss, sont déclinées en 6 modèles de sculptures.
3 sculptures inédites, Square 50, Square 100 et Bareline 40, viennent s’ajouter aux modèles
phares de Marotte, Thalweg 07, Thalweg 25 et Thalweg 33.
Les 3 finitions sont obtenues par l’application d’un film teinté dans la masse thermoformé
sur un support en MDF préalablement sculpté.
Une technique qui allie stabilité et résistance de surface.
Les jeux de lumières et subtils reflets sur les sculptures stimulent le regard
pour un aspect « Gloss » du plus bel effet. “Gloss” is the new collection of Marotte sculpted panels. Three exclusive finishes are offered
Ice Gloss, Black Gloss and Metal Gloss – featuring 6 models of sculptures.
The three finishes are obtained by applying a thermoformed mass tinted film
on a MDF substrate, which has previously been carved.
This technique combines stability and surface resistance.
The way the light plays on the sculptures and how it subtly reflects on them, provides a glossy
appearance with the nicest effect.

The panels are supplied covered with a protection film for the Black Gloss and Ice Gloss references. For cleaning the panels, use a non-abrasive soft fabric.

Marotte propose 9 nouveaux modèles
de panneaux décoratifs fabriqués suivant la technique traditionnelle
(marqueterie de bois naturels et teintés).
Le choix des bois, le jeu des textures et le dimensionnement
des bandes ont été minutieusement travaillées.
Ces jeux de compositions réalisés uniquement à l’aide de bois véritables
spécialement sélectionnés par Marotte, sont mis en œuvre
suivant la technique d’assemblage traditionnelle d’ébénisterie
dans le plus grand respect du savoir faire Marotte.
Marotte is offering 9 new models of decorative panels
manufactured using traditional marquetry skills. Using our long established
expertise of cabinetry techniques, the choice of woods, play of texture
and size of stripes has been minutely considered. These creative compositions
have been made using a combination of natural and dyed veneers
specially selected by Marotte.

La collection Bayadères est conçue
pour réaliser des habillages muraux uniques et personnalisés,
projets de grande envergure
ou éléments décoratifs, de petites tailles (mobiliers, coffrets…)
ou de très grandes tailles (murs, portes…)
Elle se compose de 3 univers couleurs, pour chacun desquels 3 variations
se combinent les unes aux autres.
The Bayadères collection is designed to create
unique personalised wall coverings. The collection can be used for large scale
installations such as feature walls and door facings
or on a more intimate scale as a highlight in furniture pieces such as cabinet
doors & carcase work. The collection consists of 3 colour ranges,
Auckland, Oxford and New York. Each colour range contains 3 variations
of the veneer combination and panels of 1 type
can either be used independently or grouped with the other variants
in the collection.
