The stylish apartment has a perfect location, right in the heart of town, between the
church and the school, close to the main shopping street. It overlooks a rushing
mountain stream, the charming village roofs and the mountains above from its
sunbathed south facing wooden balconies on all sides. Comprising the entire first floor
of an authentic, wooden Swiss chalet, this chaming Zermatt gem provides the perfect
hideaway, with the best of all worlds: both old and new.
The apartment has just been refurbished and, while a great deal of care has gone into
perserving and enhancing its old alpine atmosphere, it now provides every modern
convenience and a sense of cosy luxury.
The superb blend of traditional and modern architectural elements includes weathered
wood panelling and clean granite walls, an antique stone fire-stove with a high tech
glass door, wooden ceiling beams with modern spotlights, a unique dining table
consisting of a traditional harrow under a gleaming glass top, a large new and fully
specified connecting kitchen with all the modern applliances.
It sleeps 6 although it is perfectly suitable for smaller groups as well. The
luxury apartment includes a number of modern comforts such as a large LCD flat
screen TV with DVD and cable, free wireless broadband Internet access.
There are 3 comfortable bedrooms and 3 very modern bathrooms. The largest
bedroom has a standard double bed and en suite bathroom, including a shower. The
beds in the second bedroom can be made up either as a double or as two singles. Its
bathroom, also with a shower, is next door. The smallest bedroom has a 160cm double
bed, but it has the advantage of having the largest en suite bathroom with a corner
bath and a rainfall shower.
Though 2 of the bedrooms are small, their charming interior design gives one the
feeling of snuggling down in a traditional mountain cabin.
