Linz – European Capital of Cultural 2009,
has developed into a vital center between
East and West. No Austrian city has
changed quite so markedly in recent times
as has the capital of Upper Ausria. The
present-day result is a modern city that
promises its visitors an unforgettable stay

appearance during the cultural year and
the quality of the cars will be enhanced.
They serve as information and advertising
vehicles of the European Capital of
Culture 2009. Furthermore, numerous
taxis were converted into environmentfriendly cars with either natural gas,
hybrid or electric motors. To inform guests
up to date, taxi drivers learn interesting
