Everyone loves Zeki Müller at the Goethe Comprehensive School, but he’s beginning to lose
­enthusiasm for his accidental vocation: waking up early, delinquent students and endless ­
paperwork. And now, overly-ambitious Principal Gerster has set her sights on stealing the ­
Thailand school partnership away from the elite Schiller School. Her dream: to boost the image
of her derelict school in order to become the model for the Ministry of Education’s new public
campaign. Müller and Schnabelstedt are condemned to accompany the class on a trip to a remote ­
Thai village.
Chantal, Zeynep, Danger & Co. are in prime form during their first trip abroad, rampantly displaying

Clemens has very little time for his kids. He has been working on a big real-estate development for
the City and the contracts are almost ready to sign. Just a few remaining tenants will have to vacate
their apartments and construction can start.
When Rolf loses his apartment in the building, he vows vengeance and goes undercover as a male
Nanny for Clemens’ kids. ­His plan is simple: Sabotage.
Yet he did not reckon that Clemens’ kids Winnie and Theo would be so well prepared. They have
made it a sport to drive any new nanny out of the house immediately. And they know no mercy when
it comes to their weapons of choice and Rolf must learn that being a Nanny is far from easy – at least
in this family. But while Rolf tries to save his home and neighborhood, he unobviously becomes the
savior of an entire family.

OLD WOUNDS ARE HARD TO HEAL
Former Eastern German boxing champ Herbert has not been a winner in life since the fall of the Berlin
Wall. Now a hard-up bouncer and debt collector, he tries to revive the past by coaching his young boxing
protégé, Eddy. After a training session, Herbert suddenly collapses with spasms of pain; however, he
initially chooses to ignore the signs. When his physical deficiencies become more and more apparent,
Herbert finally sees a specialist who ultimately diagnoses him with a fatal neural disease. With not much
time left, Herbert struggles with himself and the hard outer shell he‘s cultivated over time. Not many
things really matter to him apart from his ‘lost’ daughter Sandra, whom he abandoned when the family
fell apart. Now a mother herself, Sandra is still deeply hurt and afraid of allowing her dying father to be
a part of her life again. Student Academy Award winner Thomas Stuber tells the touching story of a lone

Finland, 1944. The country is shaken by the Lapland War, a conflict between Germany and Finland in
the aftermath of WWII. Helena, a small community’s midwife nicknamed “Wildeye”, meets the FinnishGerman Nazi officer Johannes Angelhurst. She is attracted to the mysterious stranger and follows him to
the prisoner of war camp where he serves to start working as a nurse. For Angelhurst, Helena is different
from any other woman, and they develop a wild and passionate relationship. Yet their burning love
neither removes the traumatic war images that haunt the officer nor the gruesome secrets hiding behind
the walls of the camp.When the turmoil of war separates the lovers, they make a pact to reunite at the
remote cabin where they spent their happiest times together. At the end of the war, Helena and Johannes
put their lives at risk and suffer tremendous hardship to fight their way back to each other, guided by a
will to survive so strong that it bypasses the expectations of morality.

Swank and Christopher Lee. His second feature PURGE (2012), based on Sofi Oksanen’s bestselling
novel, became Finland’s official entry to the 2013 Academy Awards. A graduate in film from East
Carolina University, Antti has worked on several TV series and directed music videos for artists such
as Will Smith, Beyoncé and Eminem. THE MIDWIFE is his third feature film.

Margaret, a separated woman living alone in Dublin, learns that her teenage son has been found dead.
Enduring her unsettling grief privately, she escapes daily to the local swimming pool. One day at the
pool she runs into Joe, a homeless youth she found injured late one night in the deserted laneway
behind her work. Margaret offers Joe a room in her house and an unorthodox relationship starts to

childhood friend Nicole who is now best friends with cool but manipulative Stella.
When Lena sees Nicole and Tim kissing, she breaks off contact with her former friends, not knowing
that Stella set up the kiss. In her despair, Lena throws herself head-on into the social network and
confides in the chat buddy she has never met in person – but behind the stranger’s profile are Nicole
