Populaire, the impressive debut feature from writer-director Regis Roinsard is boosted by terrific
lead turns from Romain Duris and Deborah Francois (The Page Turner), as well as some stunning old
school cinematography from Michel Hazanavicius (director The Artist) regular Guillaume Schiffman.
Populaire was part of the competition at the Rome Film Festival. It will be distributed in India by
Top Entertainment (Tanweer Group).

Hand in Hand. Jérémie Elkaïm won the best actor for this film at the Rome Film Festival. Valérie’s
previous film, Declaration of war was very well acclaimed.

Between 2001 and 2003, Carine Tardieu wrote and directed two short films, and was awarded in
numerous festivals. In 2007, she directed The Dandelions, her first feature film, written with
Michel Leclerc and starring Karin Viard and Kad Merad.
This film was part of the Busan International Film festival.

Noémie Lvovsky directs, co-writes and stars as Camille, a 40-year-old Parisian drowning in alcoholic
anguish after splitting up from her former childhood sweetheart Eric (Samir Guesmi) after 25 happy
years together. The film was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2012 Cannes Film
Festival and won the SCAD prize. It also won the Variety Piazza Grande Award at the Locarno
International Film Festival.
