Dear friends (please see the English text below),
mit großer Freude möchten wir euch auf die vielen Highlights unseres folgenden Sommerprogramms
hinweisen, das
1. mit dem Besuch von Beru Khyentse Rinpoche beginnt!
Rinpoche ist einer der großen tibetischen Meister der Kagyü Tradition,
der vom 16. Karmapa anerkannt wurde und Übertragungen aller
buddhistischen Traditionen Tibets in sich vereint. Rinpoche ist
verheiratet und hat vier Kinder.
Während seines Kurses von Samstag, 16. Juli bis Sonntag, 17. Juli
wird
Rinpoche Erklärungen geben zu den berühmten Wunschgebeten von Samantabhadra, einem hoch
angesehenen Text, der uns von Shamar Rinpoche besonders empfohlen wurde. Im Anschluss an den
Kurs gibt Beru Khyentse Rinpoche am Sonntagnachmittag eine Einweihung zum Medizin-Buddha mit
vorheriger Gelegenheit, Zuflucht zu nehmen (eine Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an der
Einweihung).

2. Gleich nach Rinpoches Kurs findet hier vom 22.-27. Juli zum ersten Mal ein Nyungne Kurs mit
Lama Jampa statt. Shamar Rinpoche hatte schon öfter angeregt, diese
sehr verdienstvolle Praxis hier durchzuführen – nun endlich kann das
stattfinden. Hierbei handelt es sich um die Praxis zum tausendarmigen
Chenresig, zu der auch Fasten und Verbeugungen gehören. In der
angegebenen Zeit finden 2 Nyungnes statt (eins dauert immer 2 ½ Tage),
es ist aber möglich, nur an einem teilzunehmen.
Lama Jampa ist allen bekannt, die hier an den Zeremonien zur Stupafüllung teilgenommen
haben!

3. Dongsang Shabdrung Rinpoche
wird vom 5.-7. August seine im letzten
Jahr begonnene
Unterweisungsserie über die ‚Einführung
in den mittleren Weg‘
fortsetzen. Lasst euch diese wunderbare
Gelegenheit nicht entgehen, auf
beste Weise zum Thema Leerheit und der
Funktionsweise unseres Geistes
unterrichtet zu werden! Rinpoches
Unterricht ist sehr tiefgründig, aber dank seines Humors dennoch leicht zu verstehen.
Am Ende des Kurses wird Shabdrung Rinpoche eine Einweihung zur Grünen Tara geben!

4. Lama Nygyam
ist einer der Mönche, die Shamar Rinpoches Aufruf gefolgt
sind, im
Nerajana Kloster des Sharminub Instituts in Kathmandu, ein
10-jähriges
Retreat durchzuführen. Diese Zeit ist nun um und auf Jigme
Rinpoches
Empfehlung hin, wird uns Lama Nygyam nun besuchen und
vom 19.-21.
August einen Kurs über Buddha Amitabha geben, der mit
einer
Einweihung zu Buddha Amitabha enden wird. Das wird
sicher ein besonderes Erlebnis, auf das wir uns jetzt schon freuen!

It is with great joy that we are announcing the many highlights of our summer program, which will
start with
1. Beru Khyentse Rinpoche’s visit! Rinpoche is one of the great Tibetan masters of the Kagyu
tradition, who was recognized by the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa and who holds transmissions of
all Buddhist traditions of Tibet. Rinpoche is married and has four children.
During his course from Saturday, 16th to Sunday, 17th July, Rinpoche will be explaining the
famous text of Samantabhadra’s wishing prayers, a well-respected text, that was highly
recommended to us by Shamar Rinpoche. In addition to this course Rinpoche will give an
empowerment to the Medicine Buddha on Sunday afternoon at 2pm. For this the Buddhist
refuge is required, which can be taken before the initiation.
Teachings: Saturday, 10.00-11.30am and 3.00-4.30pm, Sunday 10.00-11.30 am
Empowerment: Sunday, 2pm

2. Right after Rinpoche’s course there will be the first Nyungne course taking place here, given
by Lama Jampa, from 22.- 27. July. Shamar Rinpoche had repeatedly inspired us to organize
such a course here – now finally it is happening. Nyungne is about the practice of the
thousand-armed Chenresig, which includes fasting and prostrations. The course offers time
for two Nyungnes, each of which takes 2 ½ days, but it is possible to only attending one
Nyungne.
Lama Jampa is known to everybody who participated in the filling ceremony of our stupa!

3. Dongsang Shabdrung Rinpoche will be here in the beginning of August, giving a course from
5th to 7th August about the ‘Introduction to the Middle Way’. Don’t miss this wonderful
opportunity, to learn something about emptiness and the way our minds are functioning.
Rinpoche is teaching in a very profound way, thanks to his humor still easy to comprehend.
At the end of the course Shabdrung Rinpoche will give an empowerment to the Green
Tara!

4. Lama Nygyam is one of the monks who followed Shamar Rinpoche’s offer to do a 10-years
retreat in the Nerajana monastery of the Sharminub Institute in Kathmandu. This time is now
over and following Jigme Rinpoche’s recommendation, Lama Nygyam will be visiting us and
giving a course about Buddha Amitabha, August 19.-21., followed by an empowerment to
Buddha Amitabha. This is going to be a very special experience which we are already looking
forward to!
