– Super Sail Tour in Scharbeutz
Eckernförde, June 2014 – After such a successful start of this year in the Hobie
regatta Super Sail Tour continues in Scharbeutz. Best sailing performance at the
Baltic Sea close to Lübeck from July 4th to 6th.
"Our audience friendly sailing close to the beach and the pier head is for tourists,
guests and especially children an amazing experience. Even if you are not a sailor,"
says Jens Hannemann from Prosail.
The regatta in the Hobie 16, Hobie Wild Cat and Hobie Tiger inside Super Sail Tour
will be a rendezvous of World Champions, European Champions and German
Champions again. There is no other regatta in Germany bringing together so many
top level sailors many times a year. Detlef Mohr, 10 times Kiel Week winner and 12
times European Champion will try to gain a better starting position for the final race in
August in Westerland on Sylt. Jens Goritz from the island of Föhr, Kiel Week 2013
winner Stefan Wiese-Dohse and Grömitz winner Ingo Delius are in really good mood
and very motivated this year. These masters in the Hobie 16 class make it difficult for
the youth champions to sail on the podium. Maximum excitement on the water is
guaranteed.
Up to 6 races are planned on Saturday and Sunday. All sailed very close to the pier
and as usual with Super Sail Tour live moderation. Another highlight onshore the
Hobie 16 sailing simulator. The price giving ceremony will take place on Sunday at
approximately 4:30 pm on the NDR 1 stage.
Scharbeutz waits with a great event program. Friday and Saturday evening at 8:00
pm: Great After Sail Beach Party on the NDR 1 stage with famous reggae band
"Savoy Düssel". Of course, the evening events are free for all visitors.
