Big Data Analyst (m/f)
Ippen Digital is a future-oriented company based in Munich, Germany, which is especially

development. As part of one of Germanys largest media groups our goal is to provide the best
IT-services to our partners within the media group.
Your responsibilities:
Within the context of our multi-client capable platform we want to significantly expand the
analytics as well as provide additional useful functions and evaluations to our portal
customers by using big data methods.
With no liabilities from the past to obstruct us, we can look to the future and conceptualize
and conduct a modern and state-of-the-art solution with the help of your professional
knowledge.
• Evaluation of information needs from the customer`s perspective (management and
specialist department)
• Conceptualize evaluations and key performance indicator systems
• Design and implement architectures for the use of structured and poly-structured mass
data
• Shaping and data analysing for e.g. search, reporting, forecasting, recommendation,
clustering and customer classification
• Application of agile approaches
• Preparing and presenting of presentations
• Customer-oriented consulting
Your qualifications:
• University degree in the field of computer science, mathematics or comparable
qualifications
• Knowledge of SQL and Java is required
• Fundamental practical experience with various big data technologies such as Hive,
HBase, Mahout, Pig, Solr/Lucene is beneficial
• Work experience in software development and in business intelligence projects
• Excellent analytical skills and solution-oriented approach
• Independent and creative working
• High eagerness to learn
• Flexibility
• English fluent spoken and written

HTML5/Responsive Design and Big Data – all based on the Kanban development process.
