Freie Wähler sprechen sich für Reform der Bezirke aus
Die Freien Wähler (FW) im mittelfränkischen Bezirkstag sprechen sich für ein
Bezirke aus. Die Bezirksregierungen hätten als staatliche Mittelbehörden viel
mit den kommunalen Bezirksverwaltungen.
Ministerpräsident Horst Seehofer hatte in seiner Regierungserklärung die Bezirksregieru
gestellt. Für eine sinnvolle Verlagerung von Kompetenzen von oben nach unten sprach
Bezirkstagsvizepräsidentin und FW-Bezirksvorsitzende Karin Knorr aus. Ziel der Freie
Stärkung der kommunalen Selbstverwaltung. Allerdings müssten, so Knorr, die Bezirks
kommunale Ebene eine Aufwertung erfahren.
„Alle Maßnahmen, die die Demokratie und die Mitwirkungsrechte der Bürger stärken, er
Freien Wählern volle Zustimmung“, erklärte Walter Schnell, Fraktionsvorsitzender der F
mittelfränkischen Bezirkstag. Der Rother Vize-Landrat plädiert daher für eine Direktwah
Bezirkstagspräsidenten durch das Volk. Eine Direktwahl sowohl des Bezirkstagspräside
Ministerpräsidenten bringe eine größere demokratische Legitimation.
Die Freien Wähler empfehlen der Bezirksverwaltung mehr Fingerspitzengefühl bei der B
schwieriger Sachverhalte. „Als Sozialparlament hat der Bezirkstag eine Vorbildfunktion“
Fraktionsvorsitzende Gabi Schmidt in Bezug auf die umstrittene Regelung bei der Bezah
Mittagessen in Behinderteneinrichtungen fest.
Zufrieden äußerte sich Schmidt über die Senkung der Bezirksumlage. Damit sei eine we
Forderung der Freien Wähler erfüllt worden. Allerdings müsse dieses Signal jetzt auch b
und Städten ankommen und zu einer Entlastung bei den Gemeinden und Bürgern führe
verantwortlich:
