Schengen Visa: Visit, Business and Tourism
Ob Sie für einen Kurzaufenthalt von bis zu 90
Tagen ein Visum benötigen, entnehmen Sie
bitte
der
Staatenliste.
Israelische
Staatsangehörige sind von der Visumpflicht
befreit.
Zur Beantragung bei der Botschaft in Tel Aviv
benötigen Sie einen Termin (www.telaviv.diplo.de) und folgende Unterlagen:
ө vollständig ausgefüllter Antrag auf Erteilung
eines Schengenvisums
ө biometrisches Passfoto
ө Unterschriebener Reisepass/ Travel
Document +Kopie – das Dokument muss
nach Ablauf des Visums noch mindestens
drei Monate gültig sein
ө eine Flugbuchung/ Itinerary +Kopie
ө Reisekrankenversicherung für die Dauer
Ihres ersten geplanten Aufenthalts in
Deutschland mit einer Deckungssumme von
mind. 30.000 Euro und gültig für alle
Staaten des Schengener Abkommens (bei
Abholung des Visums) +Kopie
Please check if you need a visa for a stay up to
90 days in Germany on the website of the
Federal Foreign Ministry. Israeli citizens do not
require a visa.
For an application in the German Embassy in Tel
Aviv you need to make an appointment online
(www.tel-aviv.diplo.de)
and
the
following
documents:
ө duly filled-in application form for a Schengen
Visa
ө biometrical picture
ө Passport/ Travel Document +copy – the
document has to be valid for at least three
months after the expiration date of the visa
ө a flight ticket/ Itinerary +copy
ө Travel insurance for the duration of your first
stay in Germany covering at least 30.000
Euros and valid for all Schengen countries
(can be presented upon receival of the visa)

Seminaren, Konferenzen, Ausstellungen etc
ө Einladung des Geschäftspartners in
Deutschland oder Messeausweis +Kopie
ө Schreiben des Arbeitgebers über Ihre
Anstellung und den Zweck der
Geschäftsreise +Kopie
ө Aktueller Kontoauszug +Kopie
ө Nachweis über die Finanzierung der Reise
+Kopie:
o Durch Kostenübernahmeerklärung des
Einladers (mit Auszug aus dem
Handelsregister und Passkopie/ Kopie
des Personalausweises)
o Kostenübernahmeerklärung des
Arbeitgebers
oder:
o eigene Mittel
For business visits, travels to seminars,
conferences, concerts, exhibitions etc.
ө Invitation of your business partner in
Germany or entry ticket +copy
ө Letter of your employer describing the
purpose of your trip +copy
ө Recent bank statement +copy
ө Proof about the ability to support yourself
during your stay +copy:
o by letter of the inviting person (including
extract from the „Handelsregister“ and
copy of the passport of the inviting person)
o letter of guarantee of the employer
or:
o personal bank statement/ traveller checks
Für private und touristische Besuche
ө Bestätigung des Arbeitgebers über das
fortbestehende Arbeitsverhältnis oder
Bestätigung der Universität über
fortbestehende Einschreibung.
ө Schriftliche Einladung von Verwandten/
Freunden mit Kopie des deutschen
Personalausweises (beidseitig)/
Reisepasses mit Aufenthaltstitel,
bzw.Hotelbuchung.
ө Aktuelle Kontoauszügen und Gehaltszettel
+Kopie
oder:
ө offizielle Verpflichtungserklärung des
Einladers (abzugeben bei der
Ausländerbehörde) +Kopie
Die Bearbeitungsdauer für die Erteilung eines
Visums beträgt in der Regel zwei bis zehn
Arbeitstage und ist abhängig von dem
Reisezweck und der Staatsangehörigkeit des
Antragstellers.
Die Gebühren für das Visum betragen
grundsätzlich 60 Euro. Die Gebühr ist im
jeweiligen Gegenwert in NIS in bar zu zahlen
Bitte beachten Sie: Die genannten Unterlagen
sind die Mindestanforderung. Weitere Unterlagen
können in Einzelfällen angefordert werden. Die
Botschaft kann nur vollständig ausgefüllte
Anträge annehmen.
For private and touristic trips
ө Letter of the employer stating that the
employment will continue or letter of the
University stating the studies will be
continued in Israel after the trip.
ө Written invitation of relatives/ friends with a
copy of the “Personalausweis” (both sides)/
or the Passport including residence permit,
respectively hotel reservation.
ө Recent bank statements and salary slips
+copy
or:
ө Official Affidavit of Support (to be obtained a
the Aliens’ Authority in Germany) +copy
The decision on the application will need
between two and ten working days, depending
on the purpose of the trip and the nationality of
the applicant.
The visa fee is in general 60 Euros to be paid in
NIS in cash.
Please note that you do not have any legal right
to receive a visa, even if all documents were
handed in completely. You might be asked to
hand in additional documents not mentioned
above.
