Regeln
Die Regatta unterliegt den Regeln, die in den „Wettfahrtregeln Segeln“ (WRS) festgelegt
sind.
Zusätzlich gelten die Wettfahrtordnung des OeSV 2014, die Allgemeinen
Segelanweisungen des OeSV 2014, die ergänzenden Segelanweisungen des SCT,
sowie diese Ausschreibung.
Es gelten die Bestimmungen des Anti-Doping-Bundesgesetzes 2007.
Änderung der Regel 40: Die Bestimmungen der Regel 40 gelten auch ohne dass
Flaggen- oder Schallsignale gesetzt werden. Alle Teilnehmer müssen persönliche
Auftriebsmittel tragen.
Änderung der Regeln 35, A4 und A5: Boote, die nicht innerhalb des vorgegebenen
Zeitlimits von 20 Minuten nach dem ersten Boot über die Ziellinie gehen, werden
innerhalb dieses Zeitlimits entsprechend ihrer Platzierung an den Bahnmarken gewertet.
Werbung
Boote können verpflichtet werden, vom Veranstalter gewählte und bereitgestellte
Werbung anzubringen.

3.1
Teilnahmeberechtigung und Meldung
International offen für alle Boote der Klasse MOTTE (MOTH), die im Bootsregister eines
von der ISAF anerkannten Vereines eingetragen sind, den Klassen-bestimmungen
entsprechen und gegen Haftpflichtschäden (Mindestdeckung Euro 1.500.000) versichert
sind.
3.2 Die Steuerleute müssen Mitglied eines Verbandsvereins, Einzelmitglied des OeSV oder
eines anderen von der ISAF anerkannten nationalen Verbandes sein.
3.3 Die Steuerleute müssen im Besitz des Segelführerscheines BFA Junior, BFA Binnen
(bzw. A-Schein) oder BFA FB 1 sein oder ein gleichwertiges Dokument eines
ausländischen Verbandes vorlegen können.
3.4 Teilnahmeberechtigte Boote melden, indem sie:
• a) bis zum 4. Mai 2014 melden und ein ermäßigtes Meldegeld bezahlen,
• b) rechtzeitig bis zum 18. Mai 2014 melden und das übliche Meldegeld bezahlen,
• c) ab 19. Mai 2014 (bis zur Registrierung) melden und ein erhöhtes Meldegeld
bezahlen. Teilnehmer, die nach dem 18. Mai melden, werden von einer etwaigen
Absage nicht informiert.

Teilnehmeranzahl
Es gilt eine Mindestnennung von 15 Booten bei Meldeschluss. Wird diese Mindestanzahl
nicht erreicht, so wird die Regatta abgesagt.

• a) Frühmelder bis zum 4.Mai 2014: € 50,-• b) Bis zum Meldeschluss am 18. Mai 2014: € 60,-• c) Nachmeldungen ab 19. Mai 2014 bis zur Registrierung: € 70,-Die Meldegebühr ist bei der Registrierung in bar zu entrichten.

Bahnen
Es werden Standardkurse mit einer Sollzeit von 30 Minuten gesegelt. Die Zeit des ersten
Bootes muss dementsprechend zwischen 21 und 45 Minuten liegen.

Die Zwei-Drehungen-Strafe
Die Regel WRS 44.1 ist so geändert, dass nur eine „Ein-Drehung-Strafe“ einschließlich
einer Wende und einer Halse auszuführen ist.

Wertung
Es sind 12 Wettfahrten mit 2 Streichungen vorgesehen. Werden weniger als 5
Wettfahrten gewertet, erfolgt keine Streichung, werden mehr als 9 Wettfahrten gewertet,
werden 2 Streichungen vorgenommen. Wertung nach dem Low-Point-System (WRS
Anhang A geändert lt. Punkt 1.5). Es werden höchstens 6 Wettfahrten je Kalendertag
gesegelt.

Haftung, Bilder, Daten
11.1 Jeder Segler verpflichtet sich zur Einhaltung der WRS sowie aller sonstigen für diese
Veranstaltung gültigen Regeln. Jeder Teilnehmer segelt gem. WRS 4 auf eigene Gefahr.
Der Veranstalter mit seinen Funktionären übernimmt keinerlei Haftung für Schäden
jeglicher Art zu Wasser und zu Land, weder an Mannschaft noch Material. Jeder
Teilnehmer hat bei der Registrierung ein SCT-Haftungsausschluss-Formular zu
unterzeichnen.
11.2 Die Teilnehmer erklären sich einverstanden, dass von den teilnehmenden Booten und
Personen auf dem Wasser und an Land Aufnahmen hergestellt, und diese
uneingeschränkt in Bild und Ton (beispielsweise für die Vereinszwecke des
Veranstalters, Bewerbung seiner Veranstaltungen, die Berichterstattung über die
Veranstaltungen, zur Förderung des Fremdenverkehrs, etc.) veröffentlicht werden
dürfen.
11.3 Die Teilnehmer erklären ihre ausdrückliche Einwilligung, dass ihre persönlichen Daten
durch den Veranstalter zur Förderung der Vereinszwecke gespeichert und verwendet,
nicht aber an Dritte weitergegeben werden dürfen.
11.4 Boote können verpflichtet werden, Kameras, Lautsprecher oder Positionssysteme zu
installieren.

Funkverkehr
Ein Boot darf, außer im Notfall, während der Wettfahrt weder über Funk senden noch
Funkmitteilungen empfangen, die nicht allen Booten zur Verfügung stehen. Diese
Beschränkung trifft auch auf Mobiltelefone zu.

Betreuerboote
Der Einsatz von privaten Betreuerbooten ist nach Voranmeldung (bis zum 18. Mai 2014,
an: [email protected]) gestattet.
Boote und Mannschaften können von der Wettfahrtleitung als Sicherungsboot und Helfer
eingesetzt werden. Es gelten daher für Begleitboote und Helfer dieselben
Sicherheitsrichtlinien, wie für Boote der WFL lt. Anhang 3 zur WO 2014 des OeSV. Die
Betreuerboote müssen eine weiße Flagge mit dem Buchstaben „B“ führen, die
mindestens 60 x 60 cm groß ist.

Rules
The race will be governed by the rules as stated in the „Racing Rules of Sailing“.
In addition, the prescriptions of the OeSV, the General Sailing Instruction 2014 of the
OeSV, the complemental Sailing Instructions of the SCT and this Notice of Race will
apply.
The provisions of the Federal Law 2007 of Anti-Doping shall apply.
Amendment of Rule 40: The instructions of Rule 40 are valid even if no flag- or accustic
signals are being set
All participants must wear personal flotation devices.
Amendment of Rules 35, A4 and A5: Boats failing to cross the finish line within the given
time limit of 20 minutes after the first boat will be scored within this limit according to their
positioning at the marks.
Advertising
Boats can be obliged to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizer.

3.1
Entry and Qualification
Internationally open for all boats of Class MOTH, registered at one of the associations /
clubs acknowledged by the ISAF, in agreement with the rules of the class and covered
by liability insurance (insurance coverage € 1.500.000 at a minimum.)
3.2 Helmsmen shall be members of a club affiliated to the OeSV, single members of the
OeSV or of another national association acknowledged by ISAF.
3.3 Helmsmen shall be owners of the sailing license „BFA Junior“ or „BFA Binnen“ (former
„A-Certificate“) or BFA FB1 or must be able to submit a comparable document of a
foreign authority.
3.4 Eligible boats enter by:
• a) registering earlier than 5 May 2014 and paying a reduced entry fee
• b) registering on time by 18 May 2014 and paying the standard entry fee
• c) registering after 18 May 2014 (up to time of registration) and paying a slightly
increased entry fee. Participants who have registered after 18 May 2014 will not be
informed should the race be cancelled.

Number of participants
A minimum of 15 boats at entry deadline applies. Should this number not be reached the
race will be cancelled.

Courses
There will be standard courses with a target time of 30 minutes. According to this, the
time of the first boat must be between 21 and 45 minutes.

Penalty System
Rule 44.1 is amended so that only one turn, including one tack andone gybe, are
required.

Scoring
12 races with 2 deletions are scheduled. If less than 5 races are completed there will be
no deletion. If more than 9 races are completed 2 of them will be deleted. The scoring
will be done according to the Low-Point-System (RRS addendum A, amended as per
item 1.5). No more than 6 races can be sailed per day.

Accountability, pictures, data
11.1 Each participant commits him/herself to adhere to the RRS rules as well as to any other
rules that are in effect for this event. According to RRS each participant will sail at his/her
own risk.
The organizer and its officials will not accept any liability for damages of any kind ashore
or afloat, neither for personal injury nor material damage. Each participant hast to sign
the form of non-liability.
11.2 Participants agree that pictures of boats and persons may be taken, both ashore or
afloat, and that they may be published in motion and sound without without restriction
(e.g. for purposes of the organizer like commercials, reports on the event, for promotion
of tourism, etc.)
11.3 Participants expressly declare their agreement that their personal data may be stored by
the organizing organisation and that they may be used for purposes of the Club’s
promotion. They must, however, not be passed on to third parties.
11.4 Boats can be committed to mount cameras, loudspeakers or position systems.

Radio traffic
With the exception of a case of emergency, a boat must not send or receive messages
via radio during the race unless these messages are at the disposition of all
participants. The same restriction applies to mobile phones.

Supporting boats
The use of private supporting boats is permitted under the condition of advance
notification (up to 18 May 2014 addressed to [email protected]).
Boats and their teams can be appointed as security boats and assistants by the race
committee. Therefore, the same guiding principles of security are valid for supporting
boats and assistants as are valid for boats of the racing committee as per Addendum
3 of WO 2014 of the OeSV. Supporting boats must be equipped with a white flag with
the letter „B“, the flag must have a size of 60 x 60 cm at the least.
