Verschleißtechnik GmbH, has been accompanied by enormous improvements in working lives and cleaning times. With more than 20 years’
experience in this sector, Gerhard Warning GmbH is now offering a product innovation which enables longer working lives and also significantly reduces cleaning times, since adhesions of concrete residues are markedly reduced.
Low-maintenance mixing tools, long-life floors and walls and low
cleaning expenses are desired the world over for concrete mixing
plants. One way there are the newly formulated cemented carbide
tipped mixing tools. The Widia tipped mixing tools sold by Gerhard
Warning GmbH have been successfully used in Germany, Europe
and America and have proved their worth in customer satisfaction.
They cope with very high demands and enable long production
times with correspondingly low cleaning times. Warning supplies
mixing paddles, internal wall scrapers, external wall scrapers and
agitator tools for high performance mixers, each tipped with the
specially formulated cemented carbide, for every type of mixer.

quality. This requires manpower and time, which are lost from
production time. Widia tipped mixing tools, particularly for floor
scrapers, promise to provide a remedy.
Great benefits can also arise in the manufacture of high quality facing concrete for concrete paving stones and slabs. With worn mixing tools, parts of the adhesions can come off in the mixer and then
get into the concrete being produced. The result would be
unsaleable rejects.

An even thickness of the tip is guaranteed by a semiautomatic production process. Material thicknesses of 2 – 5 mm on the surfaces
and 5 – 10 mm at the edge area of the tools promise an extremely
long working life for the tools. Further benefits arise particularly for
very sensitive tools such as, e.g., the floor scraper. A worn floor
scraper frequently leaves behind material adhesions, particularly on
the lower outside edge of the mixer. These must be removed by
manual post-cleaning in order to preclude effects on the mixing
