Espectáculo atrae a la audiencia bajo el hechizo de la gimnasia
El Festival BLUME CRAN CANARIA comienza con un colorido espectacular de apertura.
El espectáculo de inauguración oficial de la 53 ª Festival Internacional BLUME GRAN
CANARIA en la noche del domingo atrajo a muchos espectadores en el sur de la isla. Los
organizadores habían elaborado un programa colorido y variado para el escenario al aire libre
en el Centro Comercial YUMBO en Playa del Inglés. 15 grupos de siete países diferentes
llenaron el lema del festival con vida y demostraron que la gimnasia y la danza es algo para
todos y para todas las edades. Acrobacias de clase superior se presentaron junto a las
personas mayores de la gimnasia, además de danzas folclóricas. La diversión del movimiento
se desplegaba por todas partes y se transfirió rápidamente a una entusiasta audiencia. La
muestra final fue una demostración divertida de un amplio grupo formado por más de 100
deportistas de San Bartolome de Tirajana. La maratón final termino por inundar el escenario
junto a los espectadores al sonido de " Vamos a bailar ".
El inicio a la ceremonia de apertura fue presentado por representantes del municipio
de San Bartolome de Tirajana en trajes tradicionales canarios portando las banderas de los
países participantes . Jesús Telo Rodríguez , Secretario General del Comité Organizador BLUME
GRAN CANARIA, y Araceli Armas Cruz y Dolores Fernández Fabelo , ambos Concejales del
Ayuntamiento de San Bartolomé de Tirajana , dieron la bienvenida a los participantes y
abrieron el festival. " El Festival BLUME Gran Canaria está reconocido en toda España y tiene
una importancia cada vez más internacional , " dejó claro la referencia al récord de asistencia
internacional de más de 1.000 participantes extranjeros.
Las exhibicions más destacadas del evento fueron alentadas por el público, aunque es
difícil descubrirlos. Por ejemplo , el equipo del ASKO de Austria compuesto por los
Subcampeones de Europa , presentando un espectáculo de saltos acrobáticos con cuerda. Un
grupo de jóvenes atletas británicos de Scarborough Gym Club mostrando un ejercicio de suelo
con mucha velocidad y coreografía original . Los equipos femeninos de Rusia y Lituania
impresionantes con sus presentaciones de danza . También el equipo de aeróbic de
competición del Alltau Las Huesas de Telde fue acogido con enorme entusiasmo. Lo real es que
la serpentina de color ha empezado y lo mejor es que lo repiten todas las noches hasta el
miércoles en el Centro Comercial Yumbo.

Turn-Show zieht Publikum in den Bann
Das Festival BLUME CRAN CANARIA beginnt mit einer bunten Eröffnungsshow.
Die offizielle Eröffnungsshow des 53. Internationalen Festival BLUME GRAN CANARIA
lockte am Sonntagabend viele Zuschauer in den Süden der Insel. Die Organisatoren hatten ein
buntes und abwechslungsreiches Programm für die Freiluftbühne im YUMBO-Zentrum in Playa
del Ingles zusammengestellt. 15 Gruppen aus sieben Nationen füllten das Motto des Festivals
mit Leben und demonstrierten, dass Turnen, Gymnastik und Tanz etwas für Jeden und für jede
Altersgruppe ist. Hochklassige Akrobatik stand neben Senioren-Gymnastik, Bodenturnen
neben Folkloretänzen. Der Spaß an der Bewegung war den Beteiligten anzusehen und übertrug
sich schnell auf das begeisterte Publikum. Den Abschluss einer kurzweiligen Show bildete die
Vorführung einer über 100 Aktive umfassenden Gruppe Seniorinnen und Senioren aus
Vereinen der Kommune. Anschließend animierten sie das Publikum, zu den Klängen von
“Vamos a bailar” beim großen Finale mitzumachen.
Zum Auftakt der Eröffnungsfeier präsentierten zuvor Aktive in traditionellen
kanarischen Trachten die Fahnen der Teilnehmerländer. Jesús Telo Rodriguez, Generalsekretär
des Organisationskomitees BLUME GRAN CANARIA, und Araceli Armas Cruz sowie Dolores
Fabelo Fernández, beides Vertreterinnen des Rats von San Bartolomé de Tirajana, begrüßten
die Teilnehmer und eröffneten das Fest. “Das Festival BLUME GRAN CANARIA ist in ganz
Spanien anerkannt und hat eine wachsende internationale Bedeutung”, machte Telo deutlich
und verwies auf den internationalen Teilnehmerrekord mit über 1.000 Gästen.
Die Highlights der Veranstaltung wurden vom Publikum bejubelt. Dazu zählten zum
Beispiel das Team des ASKO Grieskirchen. Die vier Österreicher, die als Vize-Europameister
ihrer Sportart bekannt sind, präsentierten eine akrobatisch anmutende Rope Skipping-Show.
Eine junge Gruppe britischer Sportler vom Scarborough Gym Club zeigte eine Bodenübung mit
viel Tempo und origineller Choreographie. Frauen-Teams aus Russland bzw. Litauen
beeindruckten mit ihren Tanz-Vorträgen. Begeistert wurde auch das Wettkampf-Aerobic-Team
des kanarischen Clubs Altau Las Huesas aus Telde begrüßt. Die Gruppe zeigte eine gelungene
Kombination aus Aerobic und Tanz. Bis zum Abschluss des Festivals wird es im YUMBOZentrum noch drei weitere Abendshows geben.

Turn-show attracts audience
The Festival BLUME CRAN CANARIA begins with a colorful opening show .
The official opening show of the 53rd International Festival BLUME GRAN CANARIA on
Sunday night attracted many viewers. The organizers had put together a colorful and varied
programme for the open-air stage in YUMBO center in Playa del Ingles, in the south of the
island. 15 groups coming from seven different nations filled the motto of the festival with life
and demonstrated that gymnastics and dance is an option and a sport for everyone and for
every age group. High-class acrobatics stood beside gymnastics for elderly people, gymnastics
beside folk dances. It was obvious that the participants enjoyed their performance, and this
mood transferred quickly to the enthusiastic audience. The final of the opening show was an
entertaining gymnastic demonstration by a group of more than 100 senior athletes from clubs
of the community. After their performance they animated the audience to join the closure of
the show to the sounds of "Vamos a bailar” .
At the start of the opening ceremony participants in traditional Canarian costumes had
presented the flags of the participating countries. Jesús Telo Rodriguez, Secretary General of
the Organizing Committee BLUME GRAN CANARIA, and Araceli Armas Cruz as well as Dolores
Fernández Fabelo, both representatives of the Council of the Municipality of San Bartolomé de
Tirajana, welcomed the participants and opened the festival. "The Festival BLUME GRAN
CANARIA is recognized throughout Spain and has a growing international importance," Telo
made clear, referring to the international record of participation of over 1,000 guests.
The highlights of the event were cheered by the audience. These included, for
example, the team of the ASKÖ Grieskirchen. The four Austrians, who are known as European
vice-champions of their sport, presented an acrobatic rope-skipping show. A young group of
British athletes from the Scarborough Gym Club showed a speedful floor exercise with a
thrilling choreography. Women's teams from Russia and Lithuania respectively, impressed with
their dance presentations. Also the competition aerobics team of the Gran Canary Club Altau
Las Huesas from Telde was enthusiastically welcomed. The group showed a brilliant
combination of aerobics and dance. Until the end of the festival there will be another three
evening shows in the YUMBO Center in Playa del Ingles.
