Biography
There are quite a lot of service providers among music producers and songwriters but this young guy from Hamburg,
Germany is more than that.
Despite of his platinum status he remains faithful to his style and thus preserves his underground status. No question, Farhot
is able to make something big out of nothing. In person he his rather reserved but opens up when it comes to music, sound
and arrangements as he is definitely a passionate musician. Big but not pathetic, with an assured sense of style but not
deadlocked, floting but also sentimental and always with a rough Hip Hop charm – that is how you can describe Farhots
music.
Itʼs no wonder that street rappers feel as comfortable with his beats as well as Pop acts. He formulates his credo as follows:
“I like to let things arise”. When he manages to harmonize elements and directions, which seemed not to be in accord first,
his plan succeeds.
Born in 1982 in Kabul/ Afghanistan, Farhot moves as a young boy with his family to Hamburg Neuwiedenthal, a rather dull
backyard of the Hanseatic city south of the Elbe. Music arouses such a passion that he cannot resist to become a DJ. He
sets up a studio in his family housesʼ basement with rather cheap means. Here he tapes DJ mixtapes first and finally starts
producing by means of a computer and a cubase. Inspired by beats of a certain RZA and Dr. Dre he teaches himself the
handling with music programms, PC and keyboards.
