Day1 : Montréal du Gers – Continental hotel in Condom
- Visit of Montréal du Gers: free visit to wander around this magnificent bastide typical
of the 13th century perched on a rocky outcrop on the site of a Celtiberian hill fort
- Arrival at the hotel
- Welcoming aperitif and presentation of the program of your stay. Free topo guide
book provided for the walking tours.
- Dinner at the restaurant « Les Jardins de la Baïse ». Serge NAVARRO will produce for
you a subtly flavoured cuisine combining originality and tradition. The shaded terrace
sheltering under its canvas awning will allow you to enjoy a pleasant evening in the lush
garden.
Day 2 : ‘The Bishops Castle’ walking tour
- Buffet breakfast at the hotel
- The “Bishops’ Castle” walking tour (length of the walk : 5h – 19 kms): A hilly landscape
with the vineyards linking Larressingle and Condom
- Picnic in Larressingle: Known as the Gers’ “Little Carcassonne”
- Return to the Continental hotel
- Dinner at the restaurant ‘Les Jardins de la Baïse’
Day3 : ‘A stroll around Condom’ walking tour – Armagnac museum
- Buffet breakfast at the hotel
- ‘A stroll around Condom’ walking tour (length of the walk: 1h20 – 4 kms): Discovery of
the town located on the pilgrims’ way to Santiago de Compostella. You’ll be most attracted to
the numerous 18th century town houses
- Cruising Lunch on the Baïse: The Gascony Navigation crew will take you on a discovery
of the magical river Baïse and its thousand and one facets. Enjoy a Gascon meal in the course of
the guided cruise
- Visit of the Armagnac Museum: Housed in the stables of the bishops’ former town
palace, the museum is divided into several sections: the history, the soils and the vineyards, the
grape harvest and all the stages in the making of this spirit
- Guided visit of Condom Cathedral and Cloister: discover this 16th Century building
with the cloister and its gothic vaulting which suffered greatly during the religious wars
– Dinner at the restaurant ‘Les Jardins de la Baïse’

Day 4 : ‘Scented Lanes’ walking tour – Collegiate Church of La Romieu
- Buffet breakfast at the hotel
- Departure for Blaziert (village renowned for its flower displays)
- ‘Scented Lanes’ walking tour (length of the walk 3h – 10kms): You’ll walk across rural
landscapes dotted with streams, lakes, woods and vineyards with a few castles and fortresses
- Picnic in Blaziert (during the walk)
- Departure for La Romieu
- Visit of the Collegiate Church: Visit this magnificent Collegiate Church listed at the
UNESCO world heritage since 1998. This is a stopping place on the pilgrim’s way to Santiago
de Compostella.
- Return to the Continental hotel in Condom.
- Dinner at the restaurant ‘Les Jardins de la Baïse’
Day 5 :Walking tour following the currents of the Baïse – Flaran Abbey
- Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure for Valence sur Baïse.
- Walking tour following the currents of the Baïse (length of the walk: 3h30 – 13 km not
including the visit of the Abbey): Nature and architecture come together in this walk : Graziac
double lock ; river Baïse, Tauzia watermill, Leberon Castle, Flarambel chapel…
- Visit of Flaran Abbey (during the walk): Discover this gem of religious art built in
1151 in the purest Cistercian style, as well as its gardens of herbs.
- Picnic at the hamlet of Herret (during the walk – picnic area).
- Return to the Continental Hotel in Condom.
- Dinner at the restaurant ‘Les Jardins de la Baïse’
