Lauréate pour ses débuts sur cette
piste le 19 avril dernier, Lady Wish
(Munjiz) devait se frotter aux mâles
cette fois.
Major (Dormane), portant la casaque
Niarchos pour l'entraînement de
Philippe Sogorb se retrouvait seul en
tête mais ne pouvait repousser
l'attaque de Lady Wish (Munjiz) sur
son extérieur. Syrianah (Dormane)
finissait troisième à cinq longueurs
des deux premiers. Jean-Pierre
Daireaux son entraineur pour la
casaque de Cheikh Tahnoon bin
Zayed Al Nahyan était satisfait :
"Elle confirme, c'est une bonne pouliche même s'il y a des mâles meilleurs qu'elle. Il
faudra voir avec le manager de l'écurie, Mme Pacault, si elle ira sur Chantilly (Qatar
Coupe de France des chevaux arabes, Gr.1 PA) ou La Teste (Prix Razzia III Gr.3 PA). Si
elle va à Chantilly, elle ira ensuite à Deauville (Al Rayyan Cup - Prix Kesberoy Gr.1 PA)".
Burj Khalifa (Dormane) le favori de l’épreuve terminait avant dernier, son entraineur
Jean-François Bernard déclarait après la course "à mi-tournant il a essayé de taper la
gagnante et a dû se faire mal au dos car il n’avait plus d’action après".

A winner here for her first race on
19th of April, Lady Wish (Munjiz)
was competing against the colts
this time. Major (Dormane) trained
by Philippe Sogorb for the Niarchos
Family found himself in the lead
but could not hold on for first place
when challenged by Lady Wish
(Munjiz) on his outside. Both
battled hard to the post, a short
neck separating them in the end.
Syrianah (Dormane) finished third,
five lengths behind the first two
horses.
Her trainer stated "She is a nice
filly. We will talk to Mrs Pacaud,
racing manager for HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. She might go to Chantilly
for her next race (Qatar Coupe de France des Chevaux Arabes Gr.1 PA) or to La Teste
(Prix Razzia III Gr.3 PA). If she goes to Chantilly her next race will be at Deauville for the
Al Rayyan Cup – Prix Kesberoy Gr.1 PA.
Burj Khalifa (Dormane) the favorite could only finish second last, his trainer said after the
race : "he tried to kick the winner in the bend and probably hurt his back in the process
because he lost his action completely after that".
