Welcome to the 2016 Vilac Holiday Preview! From doggies to
kitties, from cars to instruments and to a larger than life Eiffel
Tower, Vilac has once again shown they are the premier wooden
toymaker from the Jura region of France.
A new Swedish artist named Ingela Peterson Arrhenius has
made her debut with Magicforest with a lovely offering of her
whimsical designs. The Tightrope Walkers might be our new
favorite Vilac toy! Also look for kaleidoscopes, tin music boxes
and nesting valise to round out her collection. Of course Nathalie
Lété is represented with a stunning set of wooden blocks and
some spinning tops.

Ingela Peterson Arrenius was born in Sweden in 1967. She worked as an art
director then moved on to study advertising and graphic design in Stockholm.
In 1992 Ingela became an international freelance illustrator working in the
fields of design, publishing and editorials. She has also been commissioned
to create patterns for fabrics, wallpaper, stationery, packaging, home
accessories and now, toys! She is passionate about her retro style which is
clearly reflected in addition to her joy for colorful and whimsical typography.
