ROTORA ROTORA DYEING MACHINE WITH ROTATING BEAM For greater versatility and economical processing. The ROTORA is a high temperature dyeing machine (140°C) for batch processing, adapted to woven and to knitted fabrics which have to be dyed full width to prevent creasing and curling edges and / or for economics reasons. Knitted fabrics containing large percentages of elastomeric fibres, polyester and nylon fabrics produced on warp knitting machines, as well as fabrics with low porosity are successfully dyed on the ROTORA. ADVANTAGES OF THE ROTORA : • Rotation of the beam by means of a variable frequency motor. • A line of sprays in the upper part of the dyeing vessel for spraying the non immersed parts of the fabric. • Variable speed pump. • Constant control of the pump output. • Progressive increase of the ∆ P at every start-up of the pump. • Static pressure and internal expansion of the dyebath. • Process is fully automated. The assembly of these devices enables a process with a partially immersed batch giving the following advantages. • Liquor ratio lower than the one a traditional machine of the same dimensions, giving economies of: - water, - auxiliary products in dyeing (used as g/l), - energy (for heating and cooling the dyebath), - dye cycle time. Some of these economies can reach 50%. • The internal expansion of the bath during the rising temperature phase eliminates the use of attached expansion systems, thereby producing economies in processing costs and reduction of space requirements. • Versatility and economies, loads of varying weight can be dyed into the dye vessel using the same liquor ratio.
