LYCÉE CHICAGO ACT PROGRAM
Academic Approach will be offering an ACT diagnostic test for all Lycée Chicago students on Saturday,
December 6. This diagnostic assessment—a full length unofficial ACT test—will provide students with essential
information on performance and help students set goals for their college applications.
December ACT scores, Information about testing & application to college will be presented at Parent Night on
December 16th. Both the Parent Night and the diagnostic test will be offered at Lycée Chicago. For any questions or

LYCÉE CHICAGO ACT COURSE
FOR SPRING 2014
Academic Approach is offering an ACT preparation course for Lycée Chicago students. Each student who signs up for a
course will receive the following:
Highly Customized Classroom Teaching: Academic Approach classrooms are more efficient and effective than other
test preparation classrooms because of the level of customized teaching we achieve through our detailed diagnostic
reports and extensive online and in-print coursework. Diagnostic and practice exams will enable Academic Approach to
tailor the teaching to the most common and immediate test preparation needs of the entire class as revealed by a scorereport analysis. A unique online study plan and curriculum for each student will further customize the instruction.
Expert Tutors Mentoring Students: At Academic Approach, we see test preparation as a teachable moment: an
opportunity to engage students in real learning. We, as tutors, are warm, supportive, teaching professionals who know
how to make a classroom experience effective in raising scores, academically enriching, and, just as importantly, fun.
Communication and Support: At Academic Approach, we understand and appreciate that, in order for our programs
to succeed; parents often require information and guidance. Our local directors supervise all programs and insist on their
quality; they alert you to absences, offer access to online score reports, and provide you with all the support you need
along the way.

Cost: Academic Approach’s customized classroom program for Lycée Chicago students is $749.
All students enrolling in the course must take the diagnostic assessment on Saturday, December 6.

Chers parents et élèves,
Academic Approach offre à tous les élèves de troisième, seconde et première la possibilité de passer un test
ACT d’entrainement gratuit le samedi 6 décembre, 9 h - 12h. Si votre enfant souhaite passer le test, merci de
me le faire savoir.
Le Mardi 16 décembre à 16h, Academic Approach fera une présentation des tests américains (ACT, SAT, SAT
tests types, etc.). Tous les parents et les élèves sont invités à cette session pour en apprendre davantage au
sujet de ces tests et leur rôle dans l’orientation U.S. Les résultats de l’ACT d’entrainement seront donnés aux
parents des élèves qui ont passé le test.
Academic Approach offre aux élèves la possibilité de suivre des cours de préparation dans les locaux du
lycée pour les épreuves de l’ACT. Ces cours seront offerts à un tarif spécial pour les élèves du LFC soit $749.
Ils commenceront le samedi 11 janvier 2014. Veuillez trouver ci-joint les modalités d’inscription.
Cette préparation comprend:
 Un enseignement en classe hautement personnalisé, des rapports de diagnostic détaillés, un
approfondissement des cours, en ligne et imprimé, un plan d'étude en ligne, et les programmes pour
chaque élève
 Les tuteurs spécialisés qui enseignent et encadrent les élèves
 Communication et soutien: information et orientation
 24 heures d'enseignement en classe
 3 examens blancs dans les mêmes conditions que l’épreuve et tests de diagnostic hebdomadaires
