Tables, data and forecasts in The EUROCONSTRUCT Report
Anders Bjerre, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies: [email protected] Tables, data and forecasts in The EUROCONSTRUCT Report (Based on the June 2014 edition) The EUROCONSTRUCT Report is published twice a year in connection with the Euroconstruct conferences (typically June and late November/early December). It covers building and construction in 19 European countries in the next years, with extensive analyses, detailed data and forecasts. The report is in two volumes: 1: “Country Report”, with chapters on trends in each country, including 6 full-page tables of data and forecasts. Typically around 400 pages in total, of which 114 pages are full-page tables. (See sample Table of Contents etc. in separate file) 2: “Summary Report”, with chapters on trends in each sector of construction across the 19 countries, with extensive tabulation of data and forecasts by theme. Typically around 150-200 pages, of which around 50 are full-page tables. (See sample Table of Contents etc. in separate file) Page 3-8 show the tables available in the report – in this case, in the ‘Country’ report format, where data (historical and forecasts) for each country are presented in 6 full-page tables. (Many of these figures are shown in the ‘Summary’ report volume, too, but tabulated by theme, rather than by country) The example is from the June 2014-version of The EUROCONSTRUCT Report. Note: There have been no major changes in coverage for the last years, except (obviously) in which years are covered. In all cases, there are historical data a few years back, estimates for the present year and forecasts for a few years ahead of the publication date. EXCEPTIONS to the coverage: Most of the table lines are filled in the large majority of the 19 countries. For a number of reasons, some data are not available in some countries, however. Details: See next page. MISSING (compared to the 6 “demo” tables in the next pages) are, by country: Austria: Table 4A: m2. Table 5: Stocks.
