Activité à l’IRD : Mon activité scientifique comporte deux volets, tous les deux liés à l'observation et
la caractérisation spatiale des milieux cultivés pour la gestion des ressources en eau et en sols.
Le premier volet est un volet plutôt opérationnel, correspondant à la gestion du site tunisien de
l'Observatoire de Recherche en Environnement OMERE (Observatoire Méditerranéen de
l'Environnement Rural et de l'Eau), porté par un consortium associant les laboratoires Hydrosciences
Montpellier et LISAH côté français et l'INAT et l'INRGREF côté Tunisen. Ce site est constitué par le
bassin versant du lac collinaire de l'oued Kamech, dans le gouvernorat de Nabeul.
Le deuxième volet, de recherche, correspond à la caractérisation spatiale des milieux et de leurs
structures, en se basant sur de l'imagerie à très haute résolution spatiale. Il vise à faire le lien entre les
dispositifs d'observation et les méthodes de cartographie numérique et d'estimation de paramètres
biophysiques à partir d'images. Enfin, j'assure la coordination des activités de l'UMR LISAH en
Tunisie.
