1. DATE AND VENUE
The Conference will be held from 19 January 2011
to 20 January 2011 at the Nairobi Safari Club
Hotel.
The Task Force meeting will precede the
Conference on January 18, 2011 at the same
venue. This event is open only to Task Force
members.

2. HOTEL
All participants are requested to make their hotel
bookings as soon as possible and latest by the first
week of January directly to the hotel. The website
(www.nairobisafariclub.com) provides a
registration format under “Booking and
Reservation”. In this format, please enter
“participant of the International Conference on
Teachers for EFA from 19th to 20th January 2011
– special rate applies” into the box “Your
comments” in order to be identified as a participant
of the conference and for application of the special
rate agreed upon. A sample of the format is
provided.
Sponsored participants are requested to make
arrangements to stay 2-3 nights, depending on their

2. HOTEL

3. AIRPORT PICKUP
Upon request, the Nairobi Safari Club Hotel
provides collection from the airport and transport to
the hotel. One shuttle trip takes a maximum of 3
persons and costs 30 US$ which can be shared.
Alternatively, taxis can be found at the airport at
any time. The price from the airport to the hotel
ranges between 1500 to 2000 Kenya Shillings,
which is equivalent to 19-25 US$. Flight
information should be communicated to the Hotel
for pick up.
The Nairobi Safari Club hotel is located 18 km
(approx 25 min) from the Nairobi - Jomo Kenyatta
International Airport.
Sponsored participants will receive the costs of the
transport from the airport to the hotel and back.
Sponsored participants will be reimbursed for
economy class flight only. Participants who are not
sponsored by the Task Force are responsible for
making all necessary travel arrangements.
3. TRANSFERT DE L’AEROPORT
