Condamné à six ans de prison, Malik El-Djebena, ne sait ni lire, ni écrire. À son arrivée en
Centrale, il paraît plus jeune, plus fragile que les autres détenus. D’emblée, il tombe sous
la coupe d’un groupe de prisonniers corses qui fait régner sa loi. Au fil des « missions »,
il s’endurcit et gagne la confiance des Corses. Mais, très vite, Malik utilise toute son
intelligence pour développer son propre réseau...
Deux aristocrates brillants et spirituels, la marquise de Merteuil et le séduisant Vicomte
de Valmont, signent un pacte d’ “inviolable amitié» à la fin de leur liaison. C’est au nom
de celui-ci que la marquise demande à Valmont de séduire la candide Cécile de Volanges,
qui doit prochainement épouser son ex-favori, M. de Bastide. Mais Valmont a entrepris de
séduire la vertueuse Mme de Tourvel.
Sentenced to six years in jail, Malik El Djeben cannot read or write. On arrival at the prison
centre, he seems younger and more fragile than the other detainees. Right away, he falls under
the sway of a group of Corsican prisoners who dominate the rest. Through various “jobs”
for them, he toughens up and gains their confidence. But Malik very soon uses his native
intelligence to develop his own network…

Jamal et Enayatullah sont deux cousins afghans qui vivent à Peshawar, au Pakistan. Pour
échapper à la pauvreté et tenter une vie meilleure, l’oncle d’Enayatula décide qu’il sera
envoyé en Angleterre. Orphelin, Jamal, qui habite un camp de réfugiés, persuade la famille
Enayatullah qu’il doit être aussi du voyage. Ils rejoignent le million de réfugiés qui chaque
année remettent leur vie entre les mains des passeurs.
Jackie travaille comme opératrice pour une société de vidéosurveillance. Tous les jours,
elle observe une petite partie de Glasgow et protège ainsi les gens qui mènent leur vie
sous ses yeux. Un jour, un homme apparaît sur son écran de contrôle, un homme qu’elle
ne pensait jamais revoir, un homme qu’elle ne voulait plus jamais revoir. Désormais, elle
n’a pas le choix, elle doit lui faire face.
Jamal and Enayatullah are two Afghan cousins at Peshawar, in Pakistan. To help Enayatullah
to escape from poverty and try for a better life, his uncle decides to get him sent to England.
Jamal, an orphan living in a refugee camp persuades his cousin’s family that he should make
the journey, too. They join the million refugees who put their lives in the hands of the “ferry
traffic” each year.

Quand son cousin Salim blesse un membre de l’ancien gang de Johnny, une bagarre
éclate...

Il va donc l’attendre tous les jours dans la ruelle de ce no man’s land contemporain.
In the middle of nowhere, an inner city neighborhood that has been deserted by it’s inhabitants
several years ago. And yet, some people have decided to stay, more by choice than necessity.
Amongst them is Francis, who continues to repair the machine that he has worked on all his
life ; Samir, his son, who returns after a long absence ; but also Maria, the neighbor, who lives
alone with her son José, who believes his father is Gary Cooper. Everyday he waits for him in
the street of this modern no man’s land.
Saiva vit avec Anja, sa fille adoptive, dans une contrée éloignée de toute civilisation. Elle
est la seule survivante d’une tribu indigène d’éleveurs de rennes décimée par une troupe
de soldats en maraude. Un jour, la silhouette d’un jeune homme apparaît à l’horizon,
et s’écroule. Malgré la peur et le doute, Saiva prend soin de lui et le sauve d’une mort
certaine.
