How to Pray the Rosary
``The family that prays together, stays together``
(Father Patrick Peyton)
The Rosary is a meditation on the Life of
Christ.
We begin the Rosary with the Creed, followed by one Our Father, three Hail Mary`s and
one Glory Be. Then we choose one set of Mysteries to go with the five decades of the Rosary.
For the time it takes to pray one Our Father, Ten Hail Mary`s and one Glory Be (a
``decade``) we meditate on the Joyful, Sorrowful,
Luminous and Glorious Mysteries in the life of
Christ.
We will Remember them.

scripture, saints, Bible stories and make crafts. All children are invited (approx ages 4 to 10 years), parents may attend with a younger child.

Parents desiring their children to receive these sacraments are to contact Fr. David as soon as possible.
Preparations with the children will be occurring from October to November for First Reconciliation in the

The Month of the Holy Souls
In our Catholic Tradition, November has always been known as the Month of the Holy Souls where we
pray in a special way for the peaceful repose of those who have gone before us. Quite often families
will have Mass offered, pray for their dearly deceased loved ones and make a visit o the cemetery.
