The HD1 meets the QE2
The Howe-Davies family are very pleased to
invite you onboard our HD1 ferry, and we
thank you for choosing to sail with HD
Ferries today.

vous recevoir à bord de notre HD1 ferry et
vous remercie d'avoir choisi HD Ferries
aujourd'hui.
Our first year is now behind us, and with all
the experience we learnt from 2007 (good
and bad!) we are expecting a completely
different year in 2008. We are now back on
four engines and the HD1 is once again the
fastest ferry in the Channel Islands with a
service speed of 40-45 knots (approximately
50mph).

derrière nous et avec toute l'expérience
(bonne ou mauvaise!) que nous avons
acquis en 2007 nous espérons une année
2008 complètement différente. Nous
sommes de retour avec nos 4 moteurs et le
HD1, qui est une fois de plus le ferry le plus
rapide des îles Anglo-Normandes avec une
vitesse de 40-45 Nœuds (environs 80km/h).
HD Ferries is very proud to boast that it has
made a dramatic impact in its first year. We
have now broken the monopoly in the
Channel Islands and grown the overall
travelling market on all routes by 20% in
2007. We of course expect to do even better
in 2008!
As I have said publicly many times, it is only
thanks to your support that HD Ferries is
here to stay.
We have a “Keep Fares Low” BLOG
(www.hdferries.co.uk/keepfareslow.asp) and
have also printed “I support low fares” car
stickers which we give out for free at
check-in to all vehicle passengers, and to any
supporters who would like one. Hopefully
you picked up your free car sticker today
and are displaying it proudly.
HD Ferries est fière de l'impact créé au long
de sa première année. Nous avons brisé le
monopole exercé dans les îles AngloNormandes et augmenté le marché de 20%
sur toutes les routes en 2007.
Nous entendons faire encore mieux en
2008!
