CANNES SOUNDTRACK WITH SPOTIFY 06 #
The music and cinema event of the Cannes Film Festival
Created in 2010 by Vincent Doerr, Cannes Soundtrack is the only event of the
festival dedicated to film music.
This year, Spotify, the world music streaming leader, is the privileged partner of
Cannes Soundtrack.
Spotify, enables Cannes Soundtrack to improve its visibility, with a special
playlist based on film music, bringing together the best movie soundtracks of the
cinema History and the film scores from this year Official Competition.
Cannes Soundtrack awarded the composer Mark Snow for the soundtrack of
“Vous n’avez encore rien vu” directed by Alain Resnais in 2012, Jozef Van
Wissem for “Only lovers left alive” directed by Jim Jarmush in 2013, Howard
Shore for “Mpas to the stars” directed by David Cronenberg in 2014 et Lim Giong
for “The assassin” directed by Hou Hsiao Hsien last year.
A jury from national and international press will reward his favourite soundtrack
for one of the competing films in 2016 :
