  L’école de médecine de Marseille, créée sous la
révolution, est devenue faculté de médecine en 1930.
Elle a su développer différentes formations médicales
en lien étroit avec le CHU. Partenaire de l’AP-HM,
la faculté de médecine bénéficie de l’excellence
française en matière de soins, formation clinique et
recherche.

  The Marseille School of Medicine, founded during the
French Revolution, became the Medical School in 1930.
It has developed various medical training programs in close
cooperation with the CHU University Hospital Center. As a
partner with the AP-HM (Marseille Public Hospital System),
the Medical School benefits from French excellence in the
areas of care, clinical training and research.

LA FACULTÉ
THE FACULTY
Implantée sur deux sites, la faculté de médecine
dispense des formations médicales et paramédicales.
La première année commune aux études de santé
(PACES) donne également accès à la formation
de
masso-kinésithérapie,
manipulateurs
en
électroradiologie et rééducation psychomotrice. Pour
les nouveaux métiers, les filières sont organisées dans
le cadre du cursus LMD.
La recherche, axe fort identifié par 22 équipes
labellisées, est organisée autour de 9 axes : maladies
infectieuses, neurosciences, nutrition/vasculaire,
génétique, oncologie/immunologie, sciences humaines
et sociales/santé publique, résonance magnétique/
imagerie, anthropologie, biomécanique.
Le développement professionnel continu médical
et paramédical, obligation pour l’ensemble des
professionnels de santé, est organisé via l’unité mixte
de formation en santé.
Le service des relations internationales favorise
la création, le développement et l’entretien de
relations entre la faculté et les structures hospitalouniversitaires dans le monde.
With locations on two sites, the Medical School offers
medical and paramedical training programs.
The first common year in healthcare studies (PACES)
also opens up access to training in physiotherapy,
radiologic technology and psychomotor education. For
new professions, courses are organized according to the
LMD (licence – master – doctorate) program.
Research, a key sector identified by 22 accredited
teams, is organized in 9 areas: infectious diseases,
neurosciences, nutrition/vascular disease, genetics,
oncology/immunology, human and social sciences/
public health, magnetic resonance /imaging,
anthropology, biomechanics.
Ongoing professional medical and paramedical
development, mandatory for all healthcare
professionals, is organized through the mixed
healthcare training unit.
The international relations office promotes the creation,
development and maintenance of relations between the
medical school and university hospitals around the
world.
