  The Marseille School of Pharmacy trains healthcare

LA FACULTÉ
THE FACULTY
La faculté propose des formations donnant accès
à des métiers d’avenir dans de multiples secteurs :
officine, hôpital, laboratoires de biologie médicale,
industrie, biotechnologies, instituts de recherche,
université, santé publique… L’accès à ces différents
métiers se fait grâce à des parcours personnalisés,
offrant une large place aux enseignements pratiques
et aux stages professionnels. L’excellente insertion
professionnelle des étudiants est garantie par le
développement d’interactions avec les milieux socioéconomiques de l’officine, des hôpitaux (AP-HM)
et de l’industrie, par une ouverture importante vers
l’innovation et des partenariats à l’international.
La recherche est un axe fort de la faculté s’appuyant
sur 10 unités de recherche labellisées, dans les
domaines du vasculaire, de la cancérologie, de
l’infectiologie, de la chimie, de l’environnement, de
l’ingénierie galénique, la pharmacocinétique et les
biotechnologies.
Le développement professionnel continu des
pharmaciens est organisé en lien avec l’unité mixte de
formation continue.
The school offers training programs that provide access
to careers of the future in many sectors: dispensaries,
hospitals,
biomedical
laboratories,
industries,
biotechnologies, research institutes, universities, public
health, etc. Access to these different careers comes
through personalized study paths emphasizing practical
teaching and professional internships. The students’
excellent success rate in finding jobs is guaranteed by
the development of interactions with socioeconomic
environments at dispensaries, hospitals (Marseille
Public Hospital System) and in industry, thanks to major
openings to innovation and international partnerships.
Research is a major sector for the school, with 10
accredited research units in the fields of vascular
diseases, oncology, infectiology, chemistry, the
environment, galenic engineering, pharmacokinetics
and biotechnologies.
Continuing professional development for pharmacists is
organized in connection with the mixed continuing
education unit.

CURSUS PHARMACEUTIQUE

pharmaceutiques (3 ans)
•2ème Cycle : diplôme de formation approfondie en sciences
pharmaceutiques (2 ans), avec orientation dans les filières
officine, industrie pharmaceutique ou internat

(2 years), with orientation toward the dispensary sector,

CURSUS RECHERCHE
RESEARCH PROGRAM
L’accès aux études de pharmacie se fait par le concours de la
première année commune aux études de santé (PACES) et
conduit au diplôme d’état de pharmacien :
>>Cursus en 6 ans : année professionnalisante conduisant à
une thèse de Docteur en pharmacie permettant d’exercer en
officine (pharmacie de ville, grossiste-répartiteur, …) ou dans
l’industrie pharmaceutique (drug design, R&D, bioingénierie,
production, qualitologie, affaires réglementaires, marketing,
toxicologie, environnement…)
>>Cursus en 9 ans : le concours de l’internat permet de préparer
un diplôme d’études spécialisées donnant accès aux carrières
de la biologie médicale, de la pharmacie hospitalière ou de la
recherche et de l’enseignement supérieur.
Admission to pharmacy studies is gained through the
competitive exam for the common first year of healthcare
studies (PACES) and leads to the State Pharmacist Diploma:
>>6-year program: professionalization year ending in a
Doctoral Thesis in Pharmacy for working in dispensaries
(private pharmacies, wholesalers-distributors, etc.) or in the
pharmaceutical industry (drug design, R&D, bioengineering,
production, qualitology, regulatory affairs, marketing,
toxicology, the environment, etc.).
>>9-year program: the competitive internship exam prepares
for a diploma of specialized studies for careers in biomedical
analysis, hospital pharmacy or high-level research and
teaching.
