Sinclair IS Pharma Plc completes its sale of Mysoline and the acquisition of Advanced
Biotechnology Inc (Counsel : Fasken Martineau).

London (UK)/Paris (France) Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law
and litigation firm, announced today that its London and Paris office have been
advising Sinclair IS Pharma plc ("Sinclair IS Pharma"), a London-based international
specialty pharmaceutical company, in connection with two recent transactions:
The acquisition on December 15, 2011 of Advanced Biotechnology Inc. a
dermatological products company focused on scar treatment and prevention for a
total consideration of £21.0m. The acquisition gives Sinclair IS Pharma ownership of
Advanced Biotechnology Inc s flagship scar prevention and treatment product Kelocote®;
The sale, on November 15, 2011, by Sinclair IS Pharma of Mysoline (a prescriptiononly medicine indicated for certain types of epilepsy, essential tremors and seizures)
for a total cash consideration of £11.1 million.
The Fasken Martineau team advising Sinclair IS Pharma in connection with the
acquisition of Advanced Biotechnology Inc included Abayomi Akinjide, Peter Rhodes,
Stuart Richards, Antonina Nijran, Michael A. Kashis and Kathryn Lynne from the firm’s
London office.
The Fasken Martineau team advising the sale of Sinclair IS Pharma’s drug Mysoline
included Anne Granger, Christophe Fichet from Fasken Martineau’s Paris office and
Abayomi Akinjide, Stuart Richards and Antonina Nijran from the firm’s London office.
