Harvest Collection Care Instructions
eq3 harvest collection products are constructed with solid oak and have been treated with a furniture oil
which gives resistance against stains and showcases the natural feel and beauty of the wood.
solid oak remains a live medium and will dry out over time. changes in temperature and humidity may cause
cracking or warping of the oak but not compromise the structural integrity of the product. the appearances
of cracks add to the rustic character of these products.
re-oiling the products is required to maintain the resistance and the beauty of the wood. we recommend
that the re-oiling should be done every six to twelve months depending on the dryness of the home. we
recommend that you use clear danish, tung, linseed oil or furniture oil that can be found at your local
hardware store and paint supplier.
oiling is quite easy. using a sponge or lint free cloth apply the oil to the wood. allow the oil to penetrate
for 10-15 minutes before removing any excess. leave for a further 30 minutes and wipe dry. instructions may
vary from the various furniture oil suppliers
- follow directions as indicated and use your own discretion.
- the surface can be lightly sanded with a fine grit sandpaper until the stains
subside. after sanding, clean area and re-oil. please be cautious not to over sand.

rehausse le caractÈre rustique de produit.
on doit huiller les produits pour prÉserver la rÉsistance et la beautÉ du bois. nous vous suggÉrons d’effectuer
une application d’huile À tous les six À douze mois selon le taux d’humiditÉ dans votre demeure. nous
recommandons l’huile danoise, l’huile de bois en chine, l’huile de lin ou l’huile pour meubles claire, que vous
trouberez chez votre quincailler ou fournisseur de peinture.
l’huile s’applique facilement À l’aide d’une Éponge ou d’un linge non pelucheux. la laisser pÉnÉtrer pendant

15 minutes et retirer l’excÉdent. laisser pÉnÉtrer
30 minutes de plus et puis essuyer le bois jusqu’a ce que
la surface soit sÈche. la marche À suivre peut varier selon le fournisseur d’huile. suives les directives À cotre
descrÉtion.
si des tache ou des imperfections apparaissent
- poncÉe la surface lÉgÈrement avec un papier de verre a gain fin
jusqu’a la disparition des taches. aprÈs le ponçage, endroit propre et appliquer l’huile.
