ABOUT CHÂTEAU MASSOT /
Located in the heart of the Côte de Bordeaux, close from Sainte Foy la Grande, the
Château Massot is owned since 1995 by the Mauro Family. The family is also the
owner of Château Berard and Château la Chapelle Maillard, one of the first Organic
Wine in Bordeaux (1980’s). Since 2009 all their vinegyard are «certifié d’argriculture
biologique» and USDA organic certified.

Blend : 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec
Soil : Limestone, Terrefort, Boulbene
Vineyard : 68 Ha (for whole family Chateaux)
Vines age : 23 Yo (average)
Vinification : Traditional, respecting Organic standard.
Certification : AB (Agriculture Biologique), NOP (National Organic Program), USDA
Organic, EcoCert.

Tasting Note - review of the 2014 :
Château Massot have a beautiful deep red color. The nose discovers intense red fruit
aromas. On the palate, the wine is full and long. We find intense fruit, slightly woody,
mellow tannins.
