PRESENTATION /
Château Fleur Haut Gaussens is a Bordeaux Superieur in phase with its time, a true
value that offers all the traits of a top end wine.
This cru presents a beautiful garnet colour. Intense, the nose displays pure black
fruits aromas such as cassis, blackberry and cherry. On the palate the oak is delicately integrated giving an extraordinary velvety mouthful. A powerful balanced tannic
structure complemented by just the right amount of fruit gives this wine all its personality. Elegant and delicate with a long soft finish. A wine full of personality, fineness
and with an excellent cellar potential of +/- 10 years.

Blend : 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc et Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec
Vineyard and Soil : 30 Ha
Vine average age : 30 Yo
Harvest : Machine harvested, optimum maturity following 2 maturity analysis control
Aging : 50% in French oak barrels for 8 months

Tasting reviews :
- Decanter, 15,25/20 (84) : Recommended medium intensity, good rich plum nose,
some heat. Chocolate and cacao on the attack, well placed fruits. Reasonable length.
This has all the making of a good early drinking wine, enjoyable…
- The malbec combines nicely withe the merlot toward the structured, licorice tinged
finish. This is gusty broad shouldered merlot.
- Wine Enthusiast : This is packed with just a the right amount of tannins and dark
fruits. It has weight and a blackberry note.
