Dark purple red with violet hue and black core. Aroma reminiscent of elderberries,
mulberries, fresh crushed fruit, discreet spiciness and slightly toasted aroma. On the
palate well structured with juicy fruit but firm tannins, medium length.

Managed by Dourthe and making constant process. Bright, juicy fruit on the
rounded mid-palate with fine, persistent tannins. Freshness maintained. The best yet
from this estate.

Pretty perfume. Medium intensity. Good freshness and attack. Rich and juicy. Not
too exaggerated, though there’s a bit of drying tannin on the end.

The 2015 Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac offers notable intensity, punch and
freshness in a mid-weight style. Bright red cherry, blood orange and floral notes give
the 2015 a sense of aromatic lift that is quite appealing. This is one of the more laidback, refined wines of the vintage. There is plenty to like, especially the direction this
wine has taken in the last few years.

Bettane & Desseauve
Riche et généreux, tannin mûr, allonge veloutée et bon équilibre. Beau style, vin
