Information Francophones

Chers Collègues,
Comme je l’ai dit à la dernière rencontre du Conseil de la FAPPUNB, je suis
membre du Comité des francophones de l’ACPPU. Le comité se rencontre le 9
mars et devra discuter des thèmes et des ateliers de notre prochaine Conférence
des francophones qui aura lieu dans deux ans.
Avez-vous des gens qui pourraient vouloir nous suggérer des thèmes ou des
noms de spécialistes qui voudraient bien prendre la parole lors de ce colloque ?
De plus, si quelqu’un est intéressé par la question de la francophonie en milieu
minoritaire, on pourrait me rejoindre pour discuter de ses opinions ou de ses

Hello everyone,
I am a member of Canadian Association of the University Teachers (CAUT)
francophone committee. I want to represent all the francophones in the province,
not only those at my university (UdeM, campus de Moncton). We do not have
the same sort of difficulties, the same professional life in regards to our working
conditions as francophones. I am a French teacher in a French university, but
there are francophone professors in Sackville, Saint John and Fredericton (or
even in Shippagan or Edmundston) who might want to bring their opinions, their
thoughts or their preoccupations to light.
The next meeting of the francophone Committee is on the 9th and 10th of March.
We will be discussing, amongst other things, the second Conference of
francophone professors which will be held in two years. I would really
appreciate it if the francophones could send me a couple of themes than would
interest them, ideas of workshops and suggestions of guest speakers.
Could you be so kind as to send this message to the francophones who are
teaching in your university and ask them to think about what I have asked for
and then get back to me?
