1. FUNCTION
Responsible to the commodity manager for the purchase of material, parts or assemblies, as well as
for specific procurement projects
Responsible for management of the assigned suppliers in all aspects of the business relationship
Contribute to the development of Group Commodity Strategy
Manage Aircraft Programmes with suppliers within assigned budgets
Manage specific cost reduction projects
Participate in Commodity sourcing (for new programmes and resourcing for cost or supply chain risk
reasons)
Apply supplier Manage & maintain procurement data within the Company ERP system
Start-up of new contracts and/or new programmes with suppliers
Negotiation and management of Supply Contracts
Monitor and continuously improve Quality and Delivery performance of suppliers & instigate structured
improvement programmes
Support estimation/sales process from First bids up to sales contract signature
Contribute to the identification & management of supply chain risks
Monitor and improve internal customer satisfaction in close interaction with the other functions of the
company

The candidate ideally has a successful professional background in a procurement function

Familiar with an ERP system

Takes initiative and display a pro-active attitude
3. EDUCATION
Degree inIndustrial or Civil Engineering, or Commercial Engineering.
4. LANGUAGES
English and French are a must. Experience in Dutch is a plus.
