Des amoureux de l’histoire du chemin
de fer ont pérennisé à l’échelle 1/20e le
train qui relia autrefois Saverne à Molsheim
en reproduisant de nombreux bâtiments
et ouvrages d’art se trouvant sur la ligne.
C’est une balade dans le passé et une petite
leçon d’histoire qui s’offrent aux visiteurs.

Construit de 1893 à 1918 sur ordre de
Guillaume II, empereur d’Allemagne, pour
empêcher une offensive française en
provenance du Sud de l’Alsace, ce groupe
fortifié était, à la déclaration de guerre
1914-18, le plus important de l’empire
allemand et comprenait une garnison de
6 500 hommes.

des ersten Weltkrieges die größte Festung des
Deutschen Kaiserreiches mit einer Garnison
