COMPOSANTS DE L’APPAREIL
BRANCHEMENT
Avant d’allumer l’appareil, vérifier que le voltage indiqué sur l’appareil est le même que le voltage
de votre alimentation électrique. Insérer une extrémité du câble d’alimentation AC dans l’appareil,
et l’autre extrémité dans une prise électrique standard.
ATTENTION
1. Ne pas brancher le câble d’alimentation quand vous avez les mains mouillées.
2. Quand vous ne prévoyez pas d’utiliser cet appareil pendant une longue période de temps,
déconnectez le câble d’alimentation de la prise murale.
3. Quand vous débranchez le câble d’alimentation de la prise murale, ne tirez pas sur le cordon
afin d’éviter les décharges électriques causées par un cordon abimé.
BATTERIE
Débrancher totalement le câble d’alimentation. Ouvrir le compartiment à batterie et insérer 6 piles
LR14 en respectant la polarité indiquée sur le couvercle et sur les piles.
RADIO
1. Placer le bouton FONCTION sur la position FM.
2. Tourner le bouton du contrôle de la FREQUENCE pour choisir la station de radio.
3. Ajuster le son en tournant le bouton de VOLUME.
4. Pour éteindre la radio, placer le bouton FONCTION sur la position AUX/OFF.
ANTENNE
Pour une meilleure réception, déployer entièrement l’antenne pour recevoir les stations FM.

CD
1. Placer le bouton FONCTION sur la position CD.
2. Insérer le CD dans le compartiment à CD et refermer le compartiment, l’appareil commence à
lire le CD, l’écran LED affiche le nombre total de morceaux sur le disque.
3. Pour commencer la lecture du CD, appuyer sur le bouton LECTURE/PAUSE.
4. Ajuster le son en tournant le bouton de VOLUME.
5. Pour arrêter la lecture, appuyer sur le bouton ARRET.
Mode Skip
1. Lors du mode LECTURE ou PAUSE, appuyer sur le bouton SKIP UP pour passer au morceau
suivant.
2. Lors du mode LECTURE ou PAUSE, appuyer sur le bouton SKIP DN pour revenir au début
du morceau.
3. Lors du mode LECTURE, appuyer deux fois sur le bouton SKIP DN pour revenir au morceau
précédent.

Programmation de la fonction CD Player
La programmation de la fonction CD Player doit être effectuée pendant le mode ARRET.
1. Appuyer sur le bouton PROGRAM, l’écran LED affiche ‘01’ et clignote.
2. Appuyer sur les boutons SKIP UP ou SKIP DN pour sélectionner le morceau.
3. Appuyer à nouveau sur le bouton PROGRAMME pour mémoriser le morceau dans l’appareil,
l’écran LED affiche alors ‘02’ et clignote.
4. Répéter les opérations 2 et 3 pour mémoriser d’autres morceaux. Vous pouvez mémoriser
jusqu’à 20 morceaux dans la mémoire de l’appareil.
5. Appuyer sur le bouton LECTURE/PAUSE pour lire le disque dans l’ordre programmé.
6. Pour arrêter la lecture, appuyer sur le bouton ARRET.
7. Pour annuler la liste de programmation, appuyer sur le bouton STOP et ouvrir le
compartiment à CD, ou régler le bouton FONCTION sur la position AUX/OFF.

Mode Répéter
Répéter 1 : Appuyer une fois sur le bouton REPETER, la lumière LED clignote. Ce morceau
uniquement sera répété.
Tout répéter: Appuyer deux fois sur le bouton REPETER, la lumière LED s’allume. Le disque sera
joué entièrement.
Pour annuler la fonction REPETER : Appuyer sur le bouton REPETER jusqu’à ce que la lumière
LED s’éteigne.

Mode Aléatoire
Appuyer sur le bouton ALEATOIRE pendant le mode arrêt ou pendant la lecture, tous les
morceaux sont alors joués dans un ordre aléatoire sélectionnés par le radio/CD.



Les traces de doigts et la poussière doivent être enlevées de la surface du disque avec un
chiffon doux. Contrairement aux disques conventionnels, les disques compacts n’ont pas de
rainures pour recueillir la poussière, il faut donc ôter la poussière avec un chiffon. Essuyer en
ligne droite en partant de l’intérieur du CD vers l’extérieur. Les petites particules de
poussières et les tâches de lumière n’ont absolument aucun effet sur la qualité de la
reproduction.
Ne jamais utiliser de produits chimiques tels que des sprays antistatiques, de benzène ou de
diluants pour nettoyer le CD. Ces produits chimiques peuvent abimer la surface du CD.
Les CD doivent être replacés dans leur boitier après usage. Cela permet d’éviter les rayures
qui peuvent rendre la lecture du CD plus difficile.
Ne pas exposer les CD à la lumière directe, à une forte humidité ou à de fortes températures
pendant une longue période de temps. Une longue exposition à de hautes températures peut
déformer le disque.
Ne pas coller du papier ou écrire au stylo à bille sur la face intérieure ou extérieure du CD.

CONNEXION MP3/AUX
1. Insérer une extrémité du câble audio à la prise Jack du MP3, et connecter l’autre extrémité du
câble audio au radio/CD.
2. Allumer l’appareil et passer sur la position AUX/OFF.
3. Allumer le MP3 et suivre les instructions.
4. Pour arrêter, éteindre simplement le MP3.

ENTRETIEN

Toujours éteindre l’appareil après l’avoir utilisé.

Conserver l’appareil loin des objets magnétiques, de l’eau ou des sources de chaleur.

Utiliser un chiffon doux et propre, humidifié avec de l’eau tiède pour nettoyer l’appareil. Ne
jamais utiliser de nettoyants chimiques qui pourraient abimer l’appareil.

Ne jamais toucher la lentille de l’appareil. Si la lentille est altérée par des traces de doigts, la
nettoyer doucement avec un produit nettoyant à lentille spécial.

Déconnecter l’appareil de toutes les prises électriques avant de le nettoyer.

Pour retirer un CD de son boitier, appuyer au centre du boitier tout en retirant le disque en le
tenant doucement par les côtés.

LOCATION OF CONTROLS
AC OPERATION
Before operation, please make sure that the VOLTAGE mentioned on the unit is same as the
voltage of your local area. Unravel the AC power cord, insert one end into the AC socket on the set,
and the other end into a standard AC outlet.
ATTENTION
4. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you have wet hands.
5. When planning not to use this unit for a long time, disconnect the power cable from the wall
outlet.
6. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to
avoid shock risks caused by damaged cable.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC cord set completely. Open the battery compartment door and insert 6 pieces
UM-2 "C" size batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the
battery compartment.
RADIO OPERATION
5. Set the FUNCTION switch to FM position.
6. Rotate the TUNING control to tune to your desired radio station.
7. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME control.
8. To turn off the radio, set the FUNCTION switch to AUX/OFF position.
ANTENNA
For best reception, fully extend the FM Antenna to receive FM stations.

CD OPERATION
6. Set the FUNCTION switch to the CD position.
7. Insert the CD disc in the CD compartment and close the CD door, the unit will start reading
the disc, the LED display will show the total number of tracks of the entire disc after reading.
8. To start playing the CD, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
9. Adjust the VOLUME Control to the desired volume level.
10. To stop playing the CD, press the STOP button.
Skip Mode
4. During play or pause mode, press the SKIP UP button to go to the next track.
5. During play or pause mode, press the SKIP DN button to go back to the beginning of the
track.
6. During play mode, press the SKIP DN button twice will go back to the previous track.

Programming the CD Player
The programming of the CD player should be done during STOP mode.
8. Press the PROGRAM button, the LED display will show ‘ 01 ‘ and flash continuously.
9. Press the SKIP UP or SKIP DN buttons to select the desired track.
10. Press the PROGRAM button again to store this track in memory, the LED will show ‘ 02 ‘ and
flash continuously.
11. Repeat steps from 2 to 3 to store more tracks in memory. You can store up to 20 tracks in the
memory.
12. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play the disc in the programmed order.
13. To stop playing, press the STOP button.
14. To cancel the programming list, press the STOP button and open the CD door or set the
FUNCTION switch to AUX/OFF position.
Repeat Mode
Repeat 1 : Press the REPAT button once, the repeat LED indicator will light and flash continuously.
This single track will be repeated.
Repeat All : Press the REPEAT button twice, the repeat LED indicator will stay lighted. The whole
disc will be played continuously.
To Cancel Repeat Function : Press the REPEAT button until the lighted repeat LED indicator
turned off.
Random Mode
Press the RANDOM button in stop mode or during play, all tracks on the disc will be played in
random order selected by the CD player.
MP3/AUX IN CONNECTION
5. Insert one side of the audio cable (requires 3.5mm stereo plug, not supplied) into the line-out
jack or phones jack on your MP3 player and the other side to the aux-in jack on the unit.
6. Turn on the unit and slide the function selector to AUX/OFF position.
7. Turn on your MP3 player and follow the playback instruction.
8. To stop this function, simply turned off your MP3 player.





Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the disc’s recorded surface with a soft
cloth. Unlike conventional records, compact discs have no grooves to collect dust and
microscopic debris so gently wiping with a soft cloth should remove most particles. Wipe in a
straight line from the inside to the outside of the disc. Small dust particles and light stains will
have absolutely no effect on reproduction quality.
Never use chemicals such as record sprays, anti-static sprays, benzene or thinners to clean
compact discs. These chemicals can irreparably damage the disc’s surface.
Discs should be returned to their cases after use. This avoids serious scratches that could
cause the Laser pickup to skip.
Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, or high temperatures for extended
periods. Long exposure to high temperatures can warp the disc.
Do not stick paper or write anything with a ballpoint pen on the label side of the disc.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Always turn off the unit after use.

Keep the unit away from magnetic objects, water or heat sources.

Use a clean soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water to clean the cabinet. Never use
chemical cleaners that could damage the finish of the unit.

Never touch the CD pickup and lens. If fingerprints get on the pickup lens, clean it gently with
a commercial lens cleaner.

Disconnect the unit from any power sources before cleaning.

To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc
out, holding it carefully by the edges.
