The current building of the “Résidence Vesper” dates
from the 1990s and has 60 beds, including 20 beds for
the rest and care home section. This building no longer
has the space needed for a rest and care home to
function properly, and it is no longer compliant with the
safety, hygiene and comfort standards for occupants.
As the client has acquired the house and the adjoining
land, the “Résidence Vesper” can now be endowed with
new interior and exterior spatial capacities.

The project accordingly consists of bringing the building
in line with the relevant standards in force, by adding 17
rooms and creating a built connection between the
current building and the house situated in the back of the
plot. The levels of the basement, the ground floor and
the 6th floor are changed and enlarged to add rooms,
and to improve the garden and common areas such as
the kitchen, restaurant, living room and reception area.
