As a lightweight version of the ALPHA 4 the HIKE offers the mountain climber, hiker, traveller or
quite simply the weight-conscious pilot a genuine alternative in the lower Intermediate range and it makes flying even simpler.
Version légère de l’ALPHA 4, l’ALPHA 4 HIKE, située en début de gamme des ailes intermédiaires, est une véritable alternative pour les pilotes adeptes de randonnées en montagne, de
trekking, de voyages ou simplement sensibles au poids de leur matériel, et facilite un peu plus
encore le vol libre.

Dynamischer und leistungsstärker
Der HIKE verfügt gegenüber dem herkömmlichen ALPHA 4 über ein erhöhtes Startgewicht,
so dass er mit kleinerer Fläche geflogen werden kann. Zudem wird er mit dünnen Leinen
ausgeliefert. Beides führt zu einem etwas dynamischeren Flugverhalten und zu einer merkbaren Leistungssteigerung bei unveränderter passiver Sicherheit.

Dynamic with good performance
Compared with the ALPHA 4 the HIKE can use a higher takeoff weight, so that it can be
flown with a smaller wing area. In addition it has thinner lines. Both of these features give it
slightly more dynamic flight characteristics and markedly better performance, but the degree of passive safety is unchanged.

Par rapport à l’ALPHA 4, la HIKE a une fourchette de poids total volant étendue vers le haut
et peut donc être utilisée avec une surface réduite. De plus, elle est équipée de suspentes
fines. Ces deux facteurs contribuent à un comportement en vol plus dynamique et à une
nette amélioration des performances, sans pour autant altérer la sécurité passive.
