The Evian Championship // The final wildcard rewards youth and talent yet

The Evian Championship organization committee has just awarded its 4th and
final wildcard to young amateur Agathe Laisné. Aged just 16, the French
player, who is n°1 French amateur (U16), has also appeared on international
podiums, in particular taking 1st place at the Junior Solheim Cup at the end of
July.
Further to the selection of international hopefuls Leona Maguire (Irl),
amateur world N°1, Albane Valenzuela (Swi) and Mathilda Cappeliez (Fra), the
nomination of Agathe Laisné is totally in line with The Evian Championship's
policy of supporting young talent and aiding the emergence of the champions
of tomorrow.

Le comité d’organisation de l’Evian Championship vient d’attribuer la 4e et
dernière wild card à la jeune amateur Agathe Laisné. A tout juste 16 ans, la
Française, N°1 au mérite national jeune (U16), s’illustre également sur les
podiums internationaux, occupant notamment la 1re place du classement de
la Solheim Cup Junior à fin juillet.
Après les sélections des espoirs internationaux Leona Maguire (Irl), N°1
mondiale amateur, Albane Valenzuela (Swi) et Mathilda Cappeliez (Fra), la
nomination d’Agathe Laisné s’inscrit parfaitement dans la politique menée
par l’Evian Championship : soutenir les jeunes talents et faire émerger les
champions de demain.
