Drum è un omaggio alle batterie elettroniche esagonali degli anni 80. Così la
forza delle configurazioni geometriche si declina nel progetto di una poltrona
che può essere accostata in un gioco di ripetizioni modulari per definire
sistemi di sedute per grandi aree. Ma anche in un tavolino da utilizzare anche
come pouf e in un tavolino alto. Dalle forme plastiche, la poltrona è realizzata
in poliuretano stampato a quote differenziate che garantiscono il massimo
confort senza rinunciare alla forza estetica dell’oggetto. Il rivestimento è in
tessuto elasticizzato con stampa tridimensionale elaborata sul modello della
tassellatura geometrica in tre varianti cromatiche. E’ disponibile anche in tinta
unita blu, nero, turchese, bianco, arancio ed in alcuni tessuti e pelli Cappellini.
Il tavolino pouf in poliuretano è proposto negli stessi toni della poltrona. Il
tavolino alto, invece, è realizzato con la tecnica della piegatura di un foglio di
lamiera, laccato opaco in bianco o antracite.

Drum ist eine Hommage an das sechseckige elektronische Schlagzeug der
80er Jahre. So findet die Stärke der geometrischen Konfigurationen Eingang in
den Entwurf eines Sessels, der in einem Spiel von modularen Wiederholungen
zu Sitzsystemen für große Flächen zusammengestellt werden kann. Aber
auch in ein Tischchen, das zum Hocker umfunktioniert werden kann, und in ein
hohes Tischchen. Der Sessel mit den plastischen Formen ist aus geformtem
Polyurethanschaum mit differenzierten Maßen gefertigt, die ein Maximum an
Komfort gewährleisten, ohne die ästhetische Kraft des Objekts zu opfern. Der
Bezug ist aus elastischem Stoff mit aufwändigem dreidimensionalen Druck
in Form eines geometrischen Kachelmusters in drei Farbvarianten. Er ist
auch einfarbig in Blau, Schwarz, Türkis, Weiß, Orange und in einigen Stoffen
sowie Ledervarianten von Cappellini verfügbar. Das Hocker-Tischchen aus
Polyurethan wird in den gleichen Tönen wie der Sessel angeboten. Das hohe
Tischchen wird hingegen mit einer speziellen Blechbiegetechnik hergestellt
und ist in Weiß oder Anthrazit matt lackiert.

Drum rend hommage aux batteries électroniques hexagonales des années
1980. La force des configurations géométriques se décline dans fauteuil qui
peut être disposé en répétition en trouvant ainsi sa place dans des grandes
espaces. Une particularité que l’on retrouve sur la table basse qui peut être
utilisé comme pouf ou encore sur la table haute. Le fauteuil est réalisé en
polyuréthane moulé à différentes densités qui garantissent le maximum
de confort sans sacrifier l’esthétique de l’objet. Le revêtement est en tissu
stretch (ou cuir), avec une impression 3D d’un motif géométrique, en trois
couleurs. Il est également disponible en teinte unie bleue, noire, turquoise,
blanche, orange. La table basse pouf, en polyuréthane, est proposée dans
les mêmes coloris que le fauteuil. La table haute, quant à elle, est fabriquée
suivant la technique du pliage d’une feuille de tôle, laquée en blanc ou en
anthracite mat.

Drum is a tribute to hexagonal drum pads from the ‘80s. The visual impact
of geometric configurations turns into the designs of an armchair that can be
arranged in a composition game of modular elements to accommodate any
seating configuration for large open spaces, along with a coffee table that can
be converted into a pouf and a high table. The sculptural forms of the armchair
are padded in multi-density polyurethane foam that ensures maximum comfort
without limiting the aesthetic impact of the object. The upholstery is made of
stretch fabric with the 3D print of a geometric tessellation pattern in three
different variations. It comes in blue, black, turquoise, white, orange and some
Capellini’s fabrics and leathers. The pouf table in polyurethane is available in
the same colors of the armchair, while the high table, manufactured with sheet
metal bending process, is available in white lacquer or anthracite finishing.
