La plage de Shoal Bay East – à ne pas
confondre avec Shoal Bay West – est
classée parmi les dix plus belles plages
du monde. L’eau y est idéalement turquoise et le sable, très fin et très blanc,
se déroule sur près de deux kilomètres.
La baie est classée en Marine Park et
donc totalement protégée. La pêche y
est interdite, les fonds coralliens sont
magnifiques et très facilement accessibles. Pour les bateaux à moteur, il
existe un chenal d’accès au milieu des
récifs, d’une profondeur de 1,80 mètre,
exclusivement réservé aux habitués.
The beach at Shoal Bay East – which
should not be confused with Shoal
Bay West – ranks among the ten most
beautiful beaches in the world. The
water is pure turquoise and the powder white sand stretches for almost
two kilometers. The bay is classed as
a Marine Park and therefore is fully
protected. It is forbidden to fish there,
the coral reef is magnificent and easily
accessible. For motorboats there is a
1,8 meter channel in the middle of
the reef, reserved exclusively for those
who know it.
