Nicolas Peridy is Professor of Economics at the University of Toulon
PHOTO (non obligatoire)
(France) and member of the research Centre in economics LEAD
(Laboratoire d’Economie Appliquée au Développement). He has pursued
international studies (MSc, Ph.D and post-doctorate respectively) at the
College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium), the European University Institute
(Florence, Italy) and the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France).
His research topics mainly include international trade and development,
regional integration, environment, FDI and migration concerning especially
South and Eastern Mediterranean countries. He has published more than
40 articles in international reviews, such as World Economy, Review of
World Economics, Journal of economic integration, Economics Letters,
International Economic Journal, Economic Systems, Journal of World
Trade, Journal of Asian Economics, etc. He is consultant for several
international organizations including the World Bank, the European
Commission as well as the United Nations and the FEMISE network. In
this regard, he has directed or participated in many international research
programs.
