Fire extinguisher bracket installation instructions
It is very simple to install the bracket for the fire
extinguisher, it can be done in less than 10 minutes!
Tools needed
 Small flat bladed screwdriver
 Torx socket E12
 Drill and drill bit 6mm
Instructions
1. Raise the seats to the highest position with the power seat buttons (If available).
Slide the seats as far forward as they will go.
2. Loosen the rear bolts that hold the seat to the floorboards on each side of the
seats with the Torx E12 socket.
3. Slide the seat as far back as it will go to gain access to the front bolts. Using the
small screwdriver, pry up the tab on the plastic trim pieces that conceal the bolts
and set the trim pieces aside (You won’t put them back now, but if you sell the
car and remove the bracket, it’ll be handy).
4. Remove the front bolts with the Torx E12 socket.
5. Slide the bracket under the seat sliders.
6. Re-install the front bolts, torque all four bolts to 45Ft/lb.
7. Position the extinguisher and mark the holes (At least three!) to hold the bottle.
8. Bolt the extinguisher holder to the bracket using 6mm bolts and locknuts.
9. Slide the extinguisher on its holder. Voila, you’re done!
10. To remove the bracket, just remove the holding pins and slide the bracket with
the extinguisher out.

Outils nécessaires
 Petit tournevis à tête plate
 Douilles Torx E12
 Perceuse et mèche 6 mm
Instructions
1. Positionnez le siège à son plus haut et avancez-ce le plus possible afin d’avoir
accès aux boulons arrières.
2. Desserrez les boulons arrière en utilisant la douille Torx E12
3. Reculez le siège afin d’avoir accès aux boulons avant. À l’aide du petit tournevis,
enlevez les deux caches boulons en plastique. Mettez-les de coté, afin de les
réinstaller si vous enlevez le support d’extincteur.
4. Enlevez les deux boulons avant.
5. Glissez le support sous les glissières de siège.
6. Réinstaller les boulons avant. Serrez les boulons à 45 Lb/pi.
7. Position l’extincteur à l’endroit de votre choix et marquez trois trous afin de tenir
la bouteille en place.
8. Percez et boulonnez l’extincteur au support à l’aide d’un minimum de trois
boulons de 6 mm.
9. Réinstaller le support et voilà, c’est terminé!
10. Pour enlever le support, vous n’avez qu’à enlever les deux goupilles et retirer le
support et l’extincteur.
