n 1954, Carlo and René Allemand founded their company Allemand Frères SA
which specialises in designing the layout
of office and industrial spaces. Based in the
heart of the Biel-Neuchâtel region, the
birthplace of Swiss watchmaking, the two
brothers naturally evolved towards developing a line of workbenches and furniture
specific to this industry.
Some 60 years later, the company now has
an unrivalled reputation and level of expertise and is managed by Eric Allemand, the
son of Carlo, and the second-generation
manager of the company.
Under the Finework brand, Allemand
Frères SA offers a wide range of workbenches for watchmaking, jewellery manufacturers and stone setters as well as a
broad selection of accessories and storage
systems for watchmaking supplies.
All of the workbenches are available in
­several sizes, finishes and materials and
come with various accessories such as
fixed and adjustable armrests, vice panels,
vacuum and compressed air systems and
watchmaking lamps. This means that every
workbench comprises a range of options
for adaptation and development.

cabinets with drawers offering a range of
storage possibilities. All of the products are
entirely designed and created in the company’s studios and adhere to very strict criteria and manufacturing standards. The
materials are carefully selected for their

In 2013, Allemand Frères SA will unveil a
new stand at BASELWORLD along with
height-adjustable workbenches, encompassing adaptability and economic design
to serve gold-fingered artisans in the best
way possible!
