DESCRIPTION
CARACTERISTIQUES
El nido, que sirve de refugio y protección para un gran
número de especies, sirvió de inspiración a Rafa García
para crear una butaca ligera.
Nido, Spanish for nest, means home to a number of species and inspired Rafa García to create this small armchair.
Un nid (“nido” en espagnol), un refuge ou une protection pour un grand nombre d’espèces, a été la source
d’inspiration pour Rafa García en réalisant ce fauteuil.
El asiento o Nido está sustentado por una base de madera
de fresno que es el resultado de un artesanal trabajo de
carpintería. Como si de las ramas de árbol se tratara, la
parte superior de las patas abraza y rodea el asiento. El
fresno está disponible en una amplia gama de tintes;
desde tonos muy naturales hasta los más artificiales como
el verde o el naranja.
Como alternativa, la variante con pata de metal lacado con
un singular acabado rugoso. Los acabados disponibles
son: negro, gris y marrón.
El textil que recubre el asiento está disponible en dos
versiones (con cremallera o con vivo). La versión con
cremallera perimetral es más mullida y permite desenfundar la parte interior de la butaca. La versión con vivo
es totalmente fija y con un tapizado más tenso. Tanto la
cremallera como el vivo son siempre de color negro.
La parte exterior del asiento está facetada para remarcar
todas sus líneas. En contraposición, la parte interior es
mucho más suave, mullida y acogedora.
Gracias a su estilizado perímetro es posible hacer
composiciones bi-color. Para las composiciones bi-color
es preciso especificar claramente la referencia de tejido
solicitada para cada una de las partes y calcular el precio
aplicando la siguiente fórmula:
Precio total = [(precio serie más alta+7%) + (precio serie más
baja)]/2.
IMPORTANTE
Especifique en el pedido el color deseado para las patas.

The seat or “nest” is supported by a hand-crafted ash
wood frame. The upper part provides “branches” into
which the comfortable seat is fixed. The wood is available
in a wide array of stains: from natural tones to vibrant
colours like green or orange.
As an alternative, the new range of armchairs with metal
feet in a matte finish. Choose from black, grey or brown.
The upholstery is available in two versions: with a zip or
with piping. The version with a zip is soft and loose and
enables the seating area to be removed. However, the
version with piping is fixed and pulled tight. Both the zip
and piping are always in black.
The back and sides of the upholstered area are tailored to
show off the chair’s lines whereas the seating area is soft
and cosy.
As the chair has a zip or piping to separate the seat from
the back and sides, it is possible to choose two different
fabrics. Please take care when specifying which area
should be upholstered in which fabric. The price will be
calculated using the following formula:
L’assise ou Nido est soutenue par un piètement en bois de
frêne, aboutissement d’un travail de menuiserie artisanale.
La partie supérieure embrasse et entoure l’assise, tout
comme les branches d’un arbre. Le frêne est disponible
dans une large gamme de tintes; de tons très naturels au
plus artificiels comme le vert ou l’orange.
Le nouvelle variante, du fauteuil Nido avec un piètement
métal laqué avec une singulière finition rugueuse. Les
finitions disponibles sont : noir, gris et marron.
Le revêtement du siège est disponible en deux versions
(avec fermeture éclair ou passepoil). La version zippée est
plus souple et permet de déhousser la partie intérieure du
fauteuil. La version avec passepoil est totalement fixe avec
une finition plus tendue. Tant la fermeture éclair que le
passepoil sont toujours de couleur noir.
Total price = [(price of most expensive series+7%) + (price of
the cheaper series)]/2.
L’extérieur du siège forme des facettes mettant en évidence toutes ses lignes. En revanche, l’intérieur est beaucoup
plus souple, doux et confortable.
Grace à sa conception intelligente, il sera possible de faire
des compositions bicolores.
Pour les versions bicolores, il faudra préciser clairement
la référence du tissu souhaité pour chaque section et
calculer le prix selon la formule suivante:

In the case of orders that use two different fabrics please
clearly specify which is for the back and sides of the
upholstered area (base) and which should be used for
the interior seating area (cushion).
En caso de butacas bi-color, especifique claramente en
el pedido el tejido seleccionado para la parte exterior de
la butaca (base), y el tejido seleccionado para la parte
interior (almohada).
IMPORTANT
Indiquer à la commande la couleur souhaitée pour le

Dans les versions bicolore, veuillez indiquer clairement
à la commande le tissu choisi pour la pertie extérieur
du siège (base), et le tissu sélectionné pour la parte
intérieure (coussin).
