POSTE: Serveur / Serveuse (Waiter)
RESPONSABILITÉ : Il faudra prendre la commande des clients. (You will work for
the restaurant manager, you will take the food orders.)
TÂCHES :
- Dire aux clients « Bienvenue à notre restaurant. ». (You will welcome our
guests by saying « Welcome to our restaurant. ».)
- Dire « Voulez-vous un verre d’eau pour commencer? » (You will offer them
a glass of water by saying “Would you like some water?”)
- Expliquer le menu, « Voici les 4 choix au restaurant ». (You will explain the
menu “Here are the 4 choices at our restaurant.”)
- Prendre la commande, « Qu’est-ce que vous voulez commander? » Il
faudra écrire la commande sur le papier, le numéro de table et les choix.
(Take the order by asking « What would you like to order?” Write down the
order on a form and the corresponding table number.)
- Apporter le papier à la cuisine. (Bring the order form to the kitchen.)
- Quand vous entendez la cloche et le numéro de table dont vous êtes
responsable, allez chercher le repas et donnez-le aux clients. (When you
hear the bell and your table number announced, take the food to your
table.)
- Attendre (Wait)
- Retourner à la table. Demander “Est-ce que c’est bon? Voulez-vous plus
d’eau?” (Check on your table by asking them “Is it good? Would you like
some more water?”)
- Remplir la facture. (Write the receipts.)
- Dire aux clients qu’il faut payer à la caisse « Merci! Payez à la caisse s’il
vous plaît ». (Tell the patron to pay at the cashier “Thank you for coming,
please pay at the cashier”.)
