Motherockers started in the late 2010ʼs, right away selected by Joe Satriani out of a
contest for his Swiss tour and by the first open-air Rock Festival of Kathmandu (Nepal
December 2010 Kathmandu Stadium).
The musicians definitely have a strong background. Theyʼve been part of bands such as
Krokus, Stress, Constantin...
It only takes a few beats to head-bang on the album «Handmade Rage». A gut-wrenching
experience, a spanking raw sound built around flaming riffs, unidentified flying solos, grooving
drums, hardcore bass, furious organ and a magnetic singer. These amazing musicians and
composers are standing on the timeless hills of Rock!
Their first CD, «Handmade Rage», came out of the famous Abbey Road Studio,
London. Joe Satrianiʼs audience offered them a standing ovation wich is damn unusual for an opener.
From stadiums to festivals the crowd was very responsive, singing along and slamming with
their impressive performances.
They definitely leave their print where they play. One of the feedbacks that comes regularly is:
this type of music pleases a very wide rock audience. All those who like metal rock or heavy
rock love their music.
The roots are there, true, fierce and angry. They definitely found their very own style.
November 2011 they signed with record company Disques Office for the distribution in
Switzerland. The CD Handmade Rage is now also available on iTunes store.
